Default How do you care for false lashes??

I was wondering how you "wash" afterwards beacuse if you put some mascara on it .....it gets odds and I tried washing mine: WRONG idea; They came out completely weird and flat, unweararble!! :-/
Do you use some special product or do you use some new lashes each day????

I use "Angel Eyes" lash extenders for my lashes. I used to love wearing falsies, but I ran into the same problem.

I don't have any myself, but have heard from friends a quick wash with Johnsons Baby shampoo is good with cool water, not hot. And a low cool setting on your blow dryer.

When washing use very little, and always wipe down lightly with the lash, not against it, and dry right after the wash. If they sit, they will get stiff.

How about wiping them off with a tissue or cotton ball with eye makeup remover, would that work?

I started putting mascara on my real lashes first, letting that dry then putting the false ones on. That way I'm not gunking up the falsies.

They are not meant to be worn for more than 2 wearings. I buy mine at the Asian beauty supply stores and in cities like Houston and LA are only $1 a package. Some other cities they run about $1.50. The ones you get at the drugstore for $2.99 or ones by Mac for $6.00 don't last any longer. I only use mascara on my bottom lashes and use black hair bonding glue or eyelash adhesive to apply. The hair bonding glue is only .99 for a small bottle and works just as well as the adhesive.

Since I travel to dance now I usually buy about 40 packages when I go to the places that sell them for $1 and for $40 I am set for 10-12 weeks.

I wear them and they usually last 2-3 wearings. I was wondering what everyones fav brand is. Also, I use mascara on mine, does anybody have any suggestions on which mascara to use on the lashes so they don't get too clumpy?

Max Factor's Calorie 2000 is a fabulous mascara - I've that and YSL to be my favorites (but the YSL is less water resistant)

here are some false lash tricks of the trade:
Tina's right - you shouldn't wear false lashes more than 2 times - you can get blepharitis which is not fun, and can last up to 6 months - and 6 months of a puffy eyelid is not cute!
When you remove the lashes, soak them in warm tap water with 1-2 drops of baby shampoo for about an hour - dry them with a soft sponge and pick off the glue with a pin. If you need to re-shape them, try rolling it around a pen a few times just to get the lashline in a curve and the lashes will follow the natural shape.

I think that Elite is a good brand for work- very natural & not expensive- and if I'm going out, I like Shu Umeura

    Hope this helps!
