Default looking for a good mascara

Does anyone know of a good mascara that gives the false eyelash look? Using the false ones for every day can be a bit of a hassle.. I've tried a whole bunch and some are better than others, but after a while none of them seem to give that effect anymore.. Which is the most dramatic?

Bourjois Coup de Theatre False Lash Illusion I've heard the most about. I'm dying to try it....

Lancome Difinicils is pretty good, layers a couple if times you could achieve a fake look.

Most people don't know, but Lancome and Loreal carry the same products! :o I always used Lancome until I recently when I found out that they are really the same. Now that I've switched I still have great mascara and am saving money too.

I prefer Lancome Definicils also, but did try
Bobbi Brown's glam before. Works well for lots of girls.
But because you have to apply many layers (letting them dry inbetween) I dont have the patience for that

I've tried all kinds of mascaras. Everytime I see a new commercial on TV for some extender, curler, thicker, whatever kind of mascara-I rush out and buy it. But then, I always end up happier with my usual Max Factor 2000 Calorie. I like it better even than the department store stuff I've tried.
Don't forget, alot of what makes that super thick, false eyelash look is your technique. It takes more than one coat, usually 2-3 for me to get super thick, black lashes. Then I dip the wand back in and apply another coat only to the very ends of my lashes--makes them super long.

ok believe it or not. last time i was getting a new mascare I got the cheap as hell HM own mascara. it was like $4..seriously. i just wanted to test it out and compare it to the more expensive brands. and it's soooo awesome. I have pretty long lashes and the mascara has a small brush that reall gets to every last. I LOVE this mascara.

I use Borghese mascara. It makes my lashes WAY superthick.

To add on to Mariah's application tips, I would suggest angling your mascara wand like a dentist's mirror. You can easily cover the area this way. Also, you can get an old mascara brush and dip your mascara into colored eyeshadow. It creates a very subtle but noticeable difference.
