    Default ab excercises ..besides sit ups?

    anyone know of some really good ab excercises that will work ALL the ab muscles? im talking middle, upper, lower, sides...even towards your back. I cant do sit ups because for some reason i get this pain right on my tailbone, even with pillows underneith me. any suggestions ?

    I get a pain in my tail bone too, and always seem to tip to one side. I'll be waiting for an answer to this one as well. I rented a pilates abs video and it was very difficult I thought.

    Try an excercise ball.
    Also, there are machines at any gym where you can do stand-up ab extensions. Basically, you stand with your back to the machine and lift your legs-your weight is balanced by bars supporting your arms. You can do a few variations with this cover more area.

    The point of spot training is to work your muscle to the point of fatigue. For real, let it hurt a little! You'll be GLAD ya did

    lol. yes it sux. ive been doing some floorwork at home, and that seems to be working my abs rather well, but i need MORE.
