    Default Ankle/arm weights

    I'm thinking of attatching weights on my body (ex ankle weights attatched with velcro straps) to tone up. That way I can still walk around doing chores while getting some fitness benefit. Do you think it would offer much if any benefits or would it be bad for my joints?

    I think you'd be much better off correcting your diet and weight training at a gym-if you need help let me know

    Walking around the house while wearing them wont hurt.

    However they are mainly used when you 'pace walk' or are doing some activity that includes moving the arms and legs at a consistant basis. And not for long periods of time.

    When you take them off, it's like....hold me down!

    As long as you are not doing any quick jerking motions like jogging or bag work don't worry about it impacting your joints.
