Even though I am kinda young I am absolutely certain that between now and at least 27 or 28 I do not want any babies. I don't think I want any at all, but I'm certain up until that point at least. I have always been careful and have never been or even worried whether or not I might be preggers b/c I always took the necessary precautions. I have been on the pill for a while which is not a problem, but the Norplant seems like it would be a lot easier (I'm always looking for the easy way to do things).
I have read the pros and cons and discussed it with the doc and the bf and think that after summer school ends and b/4 regular school resumes that I would like to have it done. Dos anyone have any experience with the Norplant or know anyone who has had it? I appreciate all input, negative or positive.
I know its a big step and it has risks but so does the pill and they are actually about the same as the pill, the only thing is the pill is cheaper and thus more widely/easily accessible/available. And, if I don't like it I can have it removed at any time. Feel free to share and thanks for listening.
