Default Where do you buy most of your dancer outfits?

Do you ladies buy most of your dancer outfits in stores or online? Most of the stores I know of sell cute stripper stuff but are way overpriced. I find great deals online sometimes, but I'd rather try stuff on first, cuz even if something is my size sometimes it just doesn't look right on me. Sometimes I buy outfits from other dancers too.

What are your favorite websites to order clothes from online? I like www.forplaycatalog.com. A lot of their regular clothes are expensive, but they have great stuff on clearance sometimes. I also like looking for stuff on eBay.

I love Krystal's Closet for shoes (I got two pairs of Pleasers for under $50 awhile back), and I look in local boutiques. Rather than buy stuff from, say, Leg Avenue, I look for clothes in more unusual places that give me a more dramatic and noticeable presence in the club. My biggest find yesterday was a black satin Middle Eastern sari triangle top with Arabic coins sewn along the hem that jingle when you move. Grand total $17.99, and I've never seen another dancer with a piece like it. Look in local boutiques, flea markets, and clothing stores- you never know when you'll find a treasure!

I buy a lot from ebay. I don't mind buying on-line because I always am able to sell the things I don't like.

Majority of my dance wardrobe is custom made. (Feature stuff)

For table dance wear - I have bought from costumers that journey club to club with a rack of stuff.

Or I have ventured into naughty shops and bought the odd item.

Many of our clubs are pretty lackadaisical on outfit requirements, even some of our fancier establishments one can just wear a thong bikini! Or a matching bra & panty set or whatever. I have even seen girls wear daisy dukes and a wife-beater t-shirt!!! For some reason this outfit gives men a twitch in their one eye and she's busy all night long!

No real issue - have never really bought anything offline - oh wait Fredericks has some stuff I occasionally grab...one in particular I LOVED was this gold metallic catsuit skintight with open back with strings attaching the thing together, that was HOT, but the gold wears off FAST so never bought gold metallic spandex ANYTHING ever again.

Ebay, friends who own clothing stores that sell dancewear, fleamarkets (in certain areas there's a fleamarket called the BIGONE they always have lingerie and dancewear sellers) cuz u never know what u are gonna find, and anywhere really that I see something that nobody else has.

We have great novelty shops around here, with dance wear. Mainly there. Sometimes online.

For websites, I prefer to shop at Krystel's Closet (www.krystels.com) or www.snaz75.com (just shoes). Both of them have a great selection and great deals. Plus, if you get on their mailing lists, they are always having additional discounts that they'll send to you. For example, I recently bought 4 pairs of Pleaser shoes on snaz75.com for about $80 (including shipping) during their Memorial Day weekend sale. Also, I find a lot of good deals for outfits on E-bay.

Other than that, there's a few local boutiques I like to look around in now and then. You never know what you'll find. Plus, there's a better chance you'll get some more unique outfits that way, rather than the same old things every dancer has.

I buy my shoes from snaz75.com mostly though I have a friend who will get me my shoes at wholesale when she is doing an order.

My clothes are 90% custom made by my seamstress friend in Seattle. Everything else is bought at the little novelty stores here in Reno or from the costume lady/housemom.

Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA. There are store after stores with shoes, outfits, bikini's, boa's. etc. Sometimes a little overpriced, but you can haggle with some of the shop owners and check out clearance racks!

...we're gonna have a new policy...please only post your url ONCE in a thread. We don't need to see it over and over...
We all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.

So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.

My online shop carries a lot of your standard Leg Avenue stuff and pleaser heels, but we do offer one unique costume guaranteed to make your money back- the Princess Leia slave bikini. The effect of this costume is amazing. Also, if anyone is interested in any other items, even stuff not in the catalog yet, but by a company I work with, just e-mail me at [email protected]
I'll make sure I give you the best price I can if you let me know you saw my post on stripperweb.
    Thanks,
