Default Getting ready to wax, any advice?

Hi. I've been off work for a little over a week with a knee injury and I think my pubic hair has grown enough to wax. I've tried this before a few years ago without much success so I hope I can do it better ths time. I bought Nair roll on wax. Is this OK? I know when I get my eyebrows waxed, they put warm wet cloths on and then brush with powder, so I'm going to try this. What else? I can't really tell which direction the hair growing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just don't see how I can possibly get the skin taught enough. I think that is my problem. Help!

Go to a Pro. Where I live it costs about $50. I liked it even though it was incredibly painful. I have av ery low tolerance to pain though. It grows back in about a week. I felt weird having some hair down there and having to wait 2-3 weeks for it to grow again, so I took up shaving.
It's better to be looked over, than overlooked.

Waxing is a good long term investment. I've been getting myself waxed since I was 12 and now I'm 24... I'm seeing the results even in the pubic area.

It all depends on what you like to do - shaving is a good quick way of getting rid of hair however you'll have to almost do it daily for results and run the risk of scars via cuts and nicks to yourself.

You can always try depilatory creame or go the lazer route... find something that works for you.

If you go to a Pro. make sure that you aren't afraid to tell the beautician if the wax is too hot for you. We don't want you to burn.

If u've never done it b/4 go to a professional first. After a couple professional visits if u're feeling gutsy then try urself. I've been going pro for years, and would never attempt this at home. I know my limitations. I see no way in hell I can hold my skin taught enough at an odd enough angle and pull with the grip from hell so that i only have to do one to two pulls per area to completely remove the hair. However, i work with a girl who can wax the hell out of herself. I cannot so I pay those who can.
