    Default transumbilical incisions?

I think that's the right term- transumbilical. It's where they do the incision for your implants in your belly button. I've heard that it can be less traumatic for the tissues and takes a shorter time to heal and leaves a non-visible scar since it's in the belly-button.
Has anyone ever had this incision when getting their implants or know someone who has? I'd like to get implants and from what I've read and heard it seems to be the best way to go, but I'd like some feedback from anyone who's been through it with this particular incision. Also does anyone know of any potential negative effects of having this incision used as opposed to any other kind?

    Kittie,
I had the belly button implant procedure(it is much easier to say and spell it this way..lol) done. I am soooooo happy with my implants and the procedure. I have a couple of friends who referred me to the surgeon I used. I have heard me positive than negative about the procedure. The recovery time is definitely quicker(I was back to work in two days!) and the scarring is nearly obsolete. I have about a 1 inch scar underneath the top inside rim of my belly button. The only pain that I really remember is my stomach area felt like I had done a million sit-ups but that was it. I know you will hear stories about from others how their started to drop excessively because of this procedure(this the only story I've heard). Realistically, this could have with any procedure not just from this one. I think that you should do your research of all the surgeon that perform this procedure and get references, how long the surgeon has performed the procedure, etc.

Here is the link to my surgeon's website www.blumbergcenter.com. He has pictures of before and afters and he will also send you a video of the procedure. If you live in Arizona or if you can travel here to have the procedure done, I [glow=red,2,300]highly[/glow] recommend this surgeon. After he is noted "The Pioneer of the Transumbilical Procedure". Good Luck and let me know how it goes.

I'm so glad I never got mine done. After 3 years in the business all I get is compliments on having natural breasts. I'm a 36 full B cup and men love the real over the fake. I looked at the before and after photos, no offense but they don't look too good. One has major lopsided nipples and another is way too big and looks like over inflated beach balls. I say if you are confident it shows and majority of all the men I met in the last 3 years all have said they like real breasts no matter what size over fake. I don't think it impacts earning as much as some girls think it does. I know girls with A cups who bank, because they have great looks overall, personality and always a killer sense of humor.
I say think really long and hard before you alter your body, I've seen too many girls really mess up their breasts and some really bad liposuction and in the end it isn't worth it.

I have a transax incision, but I've heard GREAT things about the TUBA incision (as it's also known). See www.yestheyrefake.net for more details.

Lynn, thank you for your words of warning. I want to get my breasts done, yes, because I think my earning potential will increase, but also for my own personal benefit. I have a pretty large bone structure. Wide hips and a big rib cage. Not freakishly big, but right now I weigh about 155-159lbs (there's a pic of me in the gallery) and if I were to lose weight, even if I only get down to around 135 lbs. or so, I look almost emaciated because my ribs will stick out. I'd like to have breast implants because I think they will help my body to look a little more proportioned at my current weight.

I don't want to get on my "anti implant soapbox", for the girls that have them and are happy that's great. I say just really think about it. I was toying with the idea before I ever danced and started dancing and thought I'd get them. Then after dancing for a while I got so many compliments on being really it changed my mind. Also after having danced (and I've been dancing at major clubs in Vegas for almost 3 years now) seeing the fake ones everyday in the dressing room I thought, why do I wanna make myself look like every other girl in here? And when I saw all the bad boob jobs, the scars, the mis shapen ones. Sure there's a few nice jobs here and there, but overall, they all look, well, fake. When I get on stage after a few girls with implants guys will say "finally real boobs, those are beautiful". So anyways, dancing is not a forever job, if you do it, do for yourself. Not for these "men" you are dancing for. And if you get them, don't go too crazy big. I've seen girls get their's removed, one girl wasn't even that big and her skin had stretched and she was left with two flapjacks on her chest. So she ended up getting implants again and having problems so she had them removed a second time. Now her boobs are all messed up and she's only 28 years old.
Do your research and best of luck with your decision.

    Kittie-
I saw your pics and you look great! If you do get implants don't go but a size larger than what you have now and by seeing your picture you have plenty of breast tissue that you shouldn't have the implant done under the muscle (plus this creates scar tissue, not a good thing). The implant under the muscle creates a more unnatural look. If you have a good surgeon he will tell you all this. Remember do it for yourself not for anyone or anything else. I have one thing to say is that my implants made my nipples hard most of the time and at first I was really embarassed but then I notice all the attention that I get and it is definitely worth it. Other reasons also are that I can go braless and clothes tend to fit better. Life is too short to care about what others think so go for it - if that is what your gut tells you. Good luck!
