Default danceware boutiques in Las Vegas

I will be going on vacation to Las Vegas in a week and figured there was excellent shopping for dancer shoes and clothing, but I have no idea where to look. Anyone know?

I went there a couple months ago and there is a place called Strings by Judith at 4970 Arville street only a couple streets back from the strip its a small little shop in a small little shopping center and you will probably pass it a couple times b/4 you find it. Its located inbetween a gas station and an apartment complex with a casino visible across the street. If you keep finding the gas station and running out of numbers you are in the right place. Took me 15 minutes and three u-turns.

Another is a place on West Sahara called Bare Essentials (kinda pricey for average stuff) but has really unique stuff as well) way down towards the clubs. Dressing rooms are too cool with regular, dim and blacklights you can turn on and off to see how and outfit shines or glows before you buy it. Shoes are priced really well. Seven and Eight inchers with ankle straps for $55. There is a shoe place in the same center to the left of this place and another shop blocks before you get to this place on the left side of the street next to a barbecue place, and another place called DareWear on Maryland Parkway.

Also, when I was there a lot of the girls shopping or working in these stores also dance and they told me the best thing to do was on the weekends go to the big indoor swap-meet b/c lots of vendors sell at these places for way less than the stores will. They said that lots of asians and latinos work strictly at the swapmeets for all their exotic dancewear sales so their prices are low to keep turnaround high. I didn't get to go because I had to go back to school but its worth a try. Grab a phone book as soon as you get there and look past the 6 million ads for escorts under exotic dancewear or lingerie and apparrel and you will get a list of stores. Thats how i found all of these places. Hope it helps.

All the girls I know in Vegas swear by Red Shoes off of Sahara. The prices here are very reasonable, and the selection is great!
I refrain from buying things by Strings by Judiths because 1. they are really overpriced and 2. everybody shops there, so everyone ends up wearing the same Judith outfits on the floor. Yes her clothes rock, until you see someone wearing the same identical costume.

I've never shopped the swap meets out here, although that does sound like a good idea. Considering how poorly made most dancer costumes bought in the stores are, I don't see how an outfit bought at a swap meet could be any worse. I'll have to give them a try WHEN i can get a weekend off.

To be honest, except for shoes, I dont really shop in Vegas for costumes...I usually buy my dancewear supplies in california, because I can get outfits for less there. I've even had outfits custom made for less that what Judith charges per out fit.
