    Default Razor Bumps(oww)

Alright ladies I need your help.I have some razor bumps on the side of my bikini line. They aren't fresh ones but just old ones that kind of leave little scar marks.I have been waiting for them to go away and they haven't.I stopped shaving and stared getting bikini waxes but those few bumps are still there. Is there ANYTHING that can make them go away or is there some sort of Make-Up that can cover them up?They don't look bad or gross but I am dancing in a NUDE club and since I'm waving my pussy around for everybody to see I wan't it to look Puuurrrfect I guess I'm just being self conscious. Please if you girls have any advice for me please help me because I figure I can't be the only girl this has happened to.Thanks girls

Thanks Smurfalicious that's a really good idea.Ican't wait to try it and see how it works for me.I think that I'll try Cocoa Butter to because I am a chocolate sista and Cocoa Butter is good for dark spots!

The best thing that has always worked for me is to exfoliate the area really well with a loofah. It seems like maybe the dead skin cells clog up the hair follicle causing the bump to appear. I don't do this right after I shave but usually before I shave and in between shavings.

    Hope that this helps!

I get ingrown hairs as well. Exfoliating is the #1 thing to prevent razor bumps. I recently tried a 2% BHA( beta hydroxy acid) liquid solution and it worked really well. BHA exfoliates the surface and penetrates into the pore, so it will help remove the skin that is scarred, prevent ingrowns and is also good if your knees, elbows, heels are dry. Try using exfoliating shower gloves and a scrub like St.Ives Apricot Scrub. If you want to get rid of scars fast, you could try a skin lightening lotion that fades skin discolorations. I got the BHA solution from paulaschoice.com, it is also good if you get acne or blackheads. Good Luck!
