Facilists
The last time I got a facial the aesthician used Aveda products which are supposed to be good, because they are all natural. However, my skin felt nice for the first day, and then broke out again. When looking for a good spa to get a facial at, what kind of products are the best?

Re: Facilists
Not so sure about having a facial, since i never had one. One thing about facials though, they do strip your natural oils from your skin, especially if you are already prone to breakouts.
Your body will try to compensate the oil taken away, and make more natural oil soon, and extra at times, which in turn can mean more breakouts.

Re: Facilists
If your breaksouts are acne you should start taking several grams of vitamin B5 (panthanoic acid). A deficiency in B5 is the leading cause of acne. Start with one gram a day and add a gram each day until you find the dosage that clears your skin. You can go as high as 15 grams if necessary, but if your breakouts are mild then 2-6 grams should be fine.
