    Default Doing it again!

Ok here is the deal. I am going back to the club. I have put on a few pounds since the last time I danced. Does anyone have any tips on toning up legs and hips. What can you do besides surgery to see results in about 3-4 weeks. I know that I am not overweight but I need a little work with the bottom half. Please any suggestions. I am ready to go back to work. By the way I do go to the gym so any equipment that anyone will be helpful. Thanks!

High protein, high fiber, low carb diet, so you can burn fat quicker. Of course, excercise just like candigrl suggested and your extra pounds will melt away quicker than you think. Good luck .

I myself prefer ephedrine for high fat burn results. Just dont neglect your primary supplements, get tons o sleep. Up the water intake a notch - ephedrine ups the body temp and u lose water, you might wanna consider a potassium supplement as well. Unless u are in need of hard core toning/muscle building, go easy on the weights, and up the cardio-building muscle helps lose the weight but at the same time increases size. Such a balance to consider.
I do applaud the lunges tho' - one can never have to highb or hard a butt! I do mine - no weights and use a broomstick across my shoulders behind my head for balance.
Thats my suggestion (just a suggestion pkease note - no need for others to jump on me here, k? This board can be funny sometimes that way!)
YOGA at home is the bomb too. Great to do before work stretches and limbers and good for the state of mind I find too. I have the whole series (GAIAM) and theres one for every need!! (morning - night - energy - strength etc etc)

If you are in an extreme hurry, an Electronic Muscle Stimulator can help, if it is used properly. This is what physical therapists at HealthSouth (the greatest sports medicine facility in the US! ) used to get my quads in better shape pronto, to help stabilize my nastily arthritic knees. It can be used for almost any major muscle group, as far as I am aware. However, I would ask your physician first before using this. There may be counter-indications if you have certain physical ailments (like heart problems). They can also tell you how to use it properly, so you don't hurt yourself by applying it to the wrong areas or not grounding the elctrodes properly. They can probably tell you were to get a good unit for home use - I'm thinking medical supply houses, NOT drugstores. Also be aware that it is somewhat uncomfortable to use these, and you do need to do regular exercise to support the use of an EMS. If you let it do all the work, and then don't exercise, when you quit using an EMS your muscles will go back to what they were before. Also, if you are not careful about properly prepping your skin beforehand, or if you have very sensitive skin, the electrodes may leave very minor (but annoying) electrical burns on your skin for a day or two. (These are small and pretty much unnoticeable in club lighting, but still...)

That's the best I can offer. Good luck.
