    Default Laser Hair Removal

I was wondering if any of you have experience with this. I've wanted my bikini area, the whole thing, done for some time. Now that I'm thinking about dancing it seems more practical. Mostly because I have this vision of a tribal blackwork tattoo across my crotch, tummy, and barely connected to a similar design on my lower back. That's beside the point.

I talked to a place here in town and they said bikini *line* only. Then another place in a larger city told me they did quite a few. My piercer has a client that had hers all done and her husband was a doctor. Hrmmm.

Anyone else had the "whole works" done? Do they really do it all, labia, down to yur bum? That would be superbly lame to just have the front done. Like those girls that just shave what's totally visible. Ewwww!

How much did it cost you? Is it coming back at all? Did you wanna kick the mofo weilding the laser? I think my quote was $640 for the whole treatment, sound decent?

Ugh, I'm gonna be in a nursing home with a hairless, tat and pierced pussy. Wait, that kicks ass!!!

oooh, I'd love to do that too....I HATE shaving, waxing, etc. and would want them to do it all up in there...but I thought it would be $1000's of $ and that nobody might do it. Please let me know if you get it done!

Well I am currently in the middle of treatment. I bought 4 treatments up front and may need more depending on how things go. Smurf-I'm not sure if your $640 is for one treatment? I'm in Upstate NY, here each treatment is $400. Buying 4 treatments upfront gave me a 20% discount off the price.

Ok, enough about prices.. I imagine you want to know about results... lol
Well I've had my second treatment, my third is scheduled the first week in March. The treatments are spread out time wise to try to catch hair in the "right' cycle of growth. (ie: 2nd treatment was 6 weeks after the first, then 3rd treatment is scheduled 2 months later..etc)

At this point, after my second treatment-I notice a huge difference, but I'm still shaving every other day or so (opposed to a MUST shave everyday before treatment) I'm looking forward to the next treatment to hopefully get rid of even more hair. One thing is for a sure, I'm getting a lot less hair, and a lot less IRRITATION! Honestly though, if your goal is similar to mine, which is to be completely hair free/smooth, best bet is to get laser and follow it up with electrolysis.

For more hair removal info there is an awesome site with plenty of information and testimonials at http://www.hairtell.com (which is where I orginally got my information)

    Hope this helps

Good to know. My $640 price tag is for um, 5 or 6. I'm having it done in Portland, OR so that's part of it. Plus by paying upfront they give you a treatment free. I'm just glad to find out that the "whole works" really is feasible.

I dunno why you'd only want your bikini line. Gonna get rid of hair, get rid of it! I want my tattoo damnit. Plus, the hair laser will muss up a tattoo so the hair has to go first, bummer. Or, I could get a tat like I saw in a magazine. This chick had a mouse with a lawnmower and shaved the strip in front of the mower.

I'm glad to hear about your results though. I really hate coochie hair. I might regret it later, but that's live. For now I get to learn about brazilian waxes and tweazers.

Does laser last for life? It's worth the price if it is. But last I heard it only lasts a year and I don't make enough for it to be worth it. But last I checked was a long time ago and I'm out of the loop.

It is supposed to last-but major catch here-it's mainly used for REDUCTION (big difference from total removal) The main benefit of laser is that it can reach larger areas in a shorter time than electrolysis (whereas electrolysis is billed by time rather than treatment, that can really add up $$$), however, it's pretty doubtful that you'll be completely smooth.
