Vicodin.![]()
"Are those real?"
"No, they're imaginary"
If you ever had surgery that is probably what it is. But if not you probably twisted it in the wrong direction. You need to take it easy and put heat on it, elevate it, and I hope it gets better. If not you need to go see a doctor.![]()

I agree with Messi. And I also recommend you start taking Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplements NOW. Start with 1500mg daily for 30 days, then 500-1000mg daily to maintain after that. I've been on it for a few years now and it really makes a difference. I take 1000mg daily, and if I forget to take my vitamins for a few days in a row, I really feel it in my knees!
Holly Shit!!! Vicodin!!! Lol Heather! :o

I would actually recommend ice rather than heat - chances are there is some swelling there and the ice will bring it down. The heat feels good, but can actually delay the healing of injuries because it increases blood flow to the tissues, which can promote more swelling. I have been plagued with knee problems since I was a child and a competive gymnast - I tore a ligament snowboarding last year and it hurt like hell plus put me on my ass for months. Glucosamin can do wonders, I hear (sadly I can't take it as I am allergic to the sulfate they use to bind it). One thing that really helps me is ballet, a beginner class with a good instructor will really help to build strength in the supporting muscles and prevent future injury.
Good luck and definitely see a doctor if it doesn't get better - physiotherapy can also be extremely helpful if rest and ice doesn't do the trick.
thanks. i am going to start the supplements. i wish i could get vicodin.

I ahve been teaching aerobics step and pump style calsses the last 8 years, but 12 months ago scored a full tiem aerobics class teaching contract in Hong Kong. the wear adn tear on my joints is one thing, but i did my ankle in last year and also my knee started giivng me fgrief. The ladies told me about htis stuff - it comes asa a spray and in plasters you aplly like a band aid - and it really fixed it up.
