    Default Body Fat

I do not need to loose weight... I'm fine and at my ideal. I just need to loose body fat and turn it into muscle (yet not too much as I just want a nice toned look).

Can anyone recommend anything? What do you use?

I already exercise and along with suppliments have the proper nutrition.... is this all I need?

Please note that I'm not good at calorie counting. So recommend something that doesn't require me to actively count my calories.

The exercise I do is varied: Winsor Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics, Light Upper Body Training, Lower Body Training, Tai Chi, Tae Bo. I do exercise on my "off" days... the dancing itself is enough exercise so I don't do any on the nights I work.

    Thanks again !

Make sure you have a recovery day each week. Your results will be much better if you have a recovery day! Otherwise, I agree with Candi. I did post in this forum a way of using intensity levels in your cardio workout for better results, which you may have already read.

Aussie you do a wide variety of movement! Nice. To tone just lift. for arms, squat for thighs, butt. For calves, i use a phone book or a step. On one leg, just go up and down using your body weight to start. on one foot. Make sure you have on a good pair os sneakers for that one. Drink lots of water. (will fill you up, if you already ate and want extra.) Depending on how long you have been doing these activities, and eating right, you should see results. Sounds like you are on your way. Just cut your food intake some with what you are doing. Muscle will grow and burn fat. Meaning burns calories...even while you sleep! Muscle is the key. It's powerful! And burns the fat right off, but you can't change fat into muscle. They are not one and the same. Pamela

    Default Thank You!

You guys gave me the head start I needed. I was already on the right track (as my stomach is now becoming less flabby and more defined in a good way)... just wanted to see what others would recommend.

    Thanks again

    Default Exercise Tip anyone?

    Hi everyone,

I have been steadily working out, and am starting to see definition everywhere except (ARGHHHHH!!) that aggravating spot on the back of the thighs right underneath the butt cheeks. I am starting to run so hopefully it will deteriorate, but am frustrated.

know of any good toning tips for that area?

    help ladies!!!!!!

Devote plenty of time to squats, utilizing proper form and relatively high weight - this is undoubtedly THE single most effective lower body exercise. Lunges, leg presses and seated leg curls work wonders, as well.

Yes, and also doing squats especially with weights will develope your muscles in your ass, making your ass bigger...Damn, now i have a big ass. So i slowed down on the squats, and no weights. Unless that is what you are aiming for. A biger butt! Pamela

For Lara you should focus on squats and the stairmaster. That really helps lift and tone ur butt and strengthen your quads.
For AussieVee, as Candigurl recommended, you should focus on higher weight, less rep. This will build the muscle you need. And don't worry, you won't build up like a bodybuilder or a man. Women don't have enough testosterone in our bodies to form that way naturally.
