    Default Finally!

Just had to share! That damn little needle on the scale has finally moved under 120! Yahooo! I can't wait to go to the gym tomorrow LOL! I love going, but is it better to spend more time on the treadmill than the machines I have learned to love so much? I do want to lose a little weight, but more than that I want to firm up my butt and tummy...hey and it wouldn't hurt to slim those hips!

A combination of both cardio and weight training works the best. And make sure you have a rest day, to let your muscles recover. This helps them get stronger and therefore firmer!!!

Congrats! Best of luck with your goals.

You inspire me, which I need since I skipped out on my treadmill this morning!

they are right...weights and the bike, or ellipical, or treadmill.
Do your weight work out first and then you do the cardio type workout.
Make sure that you get your target heart rate for FAT BURN and not cardio because FAT BURN does just that but sometimes, if one isnt careful, they choose cardio and their heart rate can get too high and this causes you to burn muscle...and not fat
When you burn muscle, you will make things worse because you will leave your fat but have less muscle... kinda like the really skinny girls who are always on the treadmill sweating their butts of, but still have cellulite. Thats cause they burn muscle rather than fat, and a lot never figure out why =(

congrats - I know how you feel, I am trying to lose weight too - 8 lbs so far, but I cabn't seem to get over this plateau - I know it will come but is is soooooo frustrating - it was way easier to put on than take off.

    Keep up the good work.

cardio is not that important for wt. loss. I know what people say nut it just is not as important as wt.training. Now it can be important for work, being able to perform difficult routines several times a night and then talk to customers. When it comes to cals. burned the "zone" does not matter, all that matters is the distance. If you run or walk 2 miles you will burn the same amount of cals.. It does not matter where the cals. come from (fat or sugar) because if you put your body in a defict, take in enough cals. so your body does not go into starvation your body will either burn fat for energy or convert fat into sugar to replenish the sugar you burned.
p.s. I am not a trainer but my husband is, any Q's and I will run them by him.
