    Default Metallic G-strings

I just bought a silver one and the silver has already rubbed off the crotch What do I do? How can I keep this from happening? I guess I'll just throw it away; I am assuming that it would just look stupid if I wear it.

    Always check the garments label.

If it's gone or doesn't have good directions here are some general tips.

    Turn the garment inside out.
Either hand wash or machine wash with the garment in a mesh back (only use the gentle cycle).
    Use cold water.
Use a standard detergent WITHOUT bleach, a bleach substitute, or color whitener.
Hand dry or use no/low heat.

Avoid buying metallic items made of lame. The material will split if enough friction is applied and sweat can make it tarnish.

    Good luck!

yes those metallic thongs are a waste of cash - they look bomb for a couple wears and then poof they are done. I bought the full catsuit in gold from fredericks and same thing, you are talking the spandex kind right? Use them for photoshoots and then only if you like wasting the money. Its a shame too cuz they look so fine! ah well...

Never explain yourself to anyone, because the person who likes you doesn't need it and the person that dislikes you won't believe it.

Yes they can be tough to keep the metallic on. I have a few. I did wear a very small g-string under the origianl for looks. Can't do that while stripping though.
For me, they are waste time as well, but great for quick pic. shots!!!

You can soak the whole costume to remove all the foil (except for the seams) so if it is a nice colour underneath you can still wear it. If your getting a costume made have several Gs made at the same time.
