Okay, I read the article, and I thought why not? I've never been able to tan by laying out in the sun (even if I burn I turn back white). I have been able to keep myself all the samish color by laying out in the sun. But tan people always look healthy and good, so I decided to try it. I don't *have* to work till friday, tho I was going to enter a contest tomorrow.
So anyways, I got Coppertone's Endless Summer, like the article recommended. I started with my feet and rubbed it in all the way up, then had my roomate do my back. That was the first mistake. My roomate smeared it a lot thicker than I did. The parts that I did were already dryish, and my back was thick. I decided to wait 30 minutes like the article said and see how it was turning out, then add more to my front if it needed it. Another bad idea. After 30 minutes my back looked sort of dark, but not much darker than the front (which was still very white. So I started putting more lotion on my front... well, the other lotion that was there was dark, and smeared in with the new lotion making streaks. I rubbed it till it was evenly mixed all over me.
Now my back, arms, and face are tan. It's been an hour and 15 minutes since I started, and 45 minutes since I put the last stuff on, and I'm standing in front of my computer typing and hoping this turns out okay.
I definitely should have been more careful about moving my head and stuff... there are little dark lines where my neck wrinkles when I put my head down, and in my armpits. I wiped them off and they seemed to just go away. Also on my ass, there are little white stripes. Not stretch marks, I guess little wrinkles from where my back is sort of arched when I stand? Is my ass weird? LOL
Okay, I'm gonna go check the mirror again...
Lena
