I listen to the same music at home that I dance to in the club: alternative rock and R&B. I practice some music and my floor shows at home in my living room. Especially if I'm doing a theme show at my club.

I listen to punk mostly. Rancid is still one of my favorites.

Very heavy on stuff not found on mainstrean radio. Portuguese jazz, Industrial, Classical, Electronic (school of Aphex Twin and autecre), Jungle, new and dark wave.
    Also acid jazz.

    Whatever tickles my fancy.

I'm in love with George Michael, Erykah Badu, Outkast and I totally dig jazz (Miles Davis, Art Blakey, The Byrds, etc, etc - I used to be in a jazz band myself).

And I love 80s (hey, I'm an 80s babe!) and anything by Michael Jackson definitely rocks my world!!

My radio is perma-locked on the local affiliate of NPR.
I own CDs of Ravel, Bach, Tchaikovski, Debussey, the Anonymous Four; baroque, opera, harpsichord and violin compilations.
Also jazz/blues - jazz diva compilations, Chess New Orleans set, Al Hirt, Nina Simone, and of course lots of Billie Holliday and Louis Armstrong.
Then I've got some other local New Orleans stuff like Rebirth, Kermit Ruffins, and the Meters.

I like lots of British pop bands - right now the Super Furry Animals, Idlewild, and British Sea Power are some of my faves. I'm planning on going to see the White Stripes and the Flaming Lips for New Year's Eve and I just saw Ted Leo the other night.
I also love old country and blues - Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams (sr), Robert Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins.
When I get in the car after work the last thing I want to hear is more music, so I usually listen to sports talk radio or NPR.

I listen to just about everything. I'm real into punk right now. I saw Three Days Grace in concert last month and tomorrow I'm going to see the Distillers and Story of the Year. I really like some non-mainstream punk like Electrasy and The Urge.

I like rap and pop, I'll listen to it but not much. I'm also really into techno, Cosmic Gate, Four-Tet, DJ Tiesto (absolute fav), Lautsprecher, DJ Sammy, and DJ Encore and Engelina, definitely Paul Oakenfold, and Sigur Ros.

I like a lot of rock, Staind, Static-X, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, Seether, Cold, Chevelle is my fav.

If I do listen to rap it's gotta be Twista or Ludacris. Other than that I listen to some older music like Huey Lewis and the News, Billy Idol, Chris Rea, Dire Straits, Iron Maiden, and Whitesnake.

Like I said just about everything.
