Texas Tornado is by Tracey Lawrence not Allen Jackson.I dance to country all the time. Here are some of my fav's.
Trace Atkins- Chrome,One of those nights,Hot mama
Tobey Kieth- Whiskey girl,Who's your daddy,Beer for my horses
Barbara Mandrell- I was country when country was'nt cool,If lovin' you is wrong
Brooks n Dunn- Play something country(new, very fun 2 dance 2)Country girl

Kinda depends on the crowd, older guys will like the Barbara Mandrell and any Alabama,George Strait, and George Jones.Younger guys will like the more up beat stuff. And military guys and those who support them will like Courtesy of the red, white and blue,American Soldier-Tobey Keith
A womens body is a beautiful piece of art.Strip clubs are a dancer's gallery.

Does society ever make you think "What the fuck?"

    I'll throw some in too...

Aaron Tippin: "Kiss This" (Gotta second this one! VERY good song to dance to.. "Why don't you kiss.. Kiss this.. And I don't mean on my rosy red lips.")

Alan Jackson: "I'll Go On Loving You" (Slow, but very sexy.. One of my fave AJ Songs)

Colin Raye: "My Kind of Girl"

    Garth Brooks: "Two Pina Coladas"

    Jo Dee Messina: "Bye Bye"

    Lonestar: "Tequila Talkin"

    Reba McEntire: "Fancy"

Sammy Kershaw: "Queen Of My Double-Wide Trailer" (Funny.. heh)

Shania Twain: Any of her old stuff, when she WAS actually strictly country. The type of stuff that Paige mentioned up there ^ Some were from her second album, which is my fave. You can also throw in "No One Needs To Know"

    SheDAISY: "I Will.. But..."

Tim McGraw: "Hard On The Ticker"

    Toby Keith: "Dream Walkin"

    Trace Adkins: "One Hot Mama"

I'll think of more.. I'll have to go through my CDs. Heh.

it always suprised me when girls used "live like you were dyiing". although it IS a good song, it seems so depressing for a SC.....it doesn't inspire me to throw money, but if you can pull it off then good on ya.

I agree it is a depressing song ......and yes what music you dance to is IMPORTANT by all means but it is also about your stage presence (sorry can;t spell tonight) and how well you perform....I guess alot of people would say "God why is someone dancing to such a depressing song", then they look up to see who it is dancing and then they may and sometimes do think "DAMN she's hot, man look how she moves, she moves so sensual, damn I'm getting a dance from her" .....it does'nt always happen this way though, that night was just one of those akward off the wall, full moon nights, and the song just so happened to work. I do know on the young cowboys, when I danced to Rough and Ready they got all kinds of rowdey and I got tiped very well....I love Trace Adkins......I'm sure what ever you choose to dance to will work Great!! Good Luck!!!

What about Gretchen Wilson's "Redneck Woman"? I think that's who does it.

"Titties and Beer" is a fave. of mine, too! It's very fun.

Save a horse, ride a cowboy.

The one I absolutely LOVE now is Cross Canadian Ragweed's "Maybe I miss your body".

For the Texas girls, everybody loves Pat Green - Wave on Wave, Guy like me, Take me out to a dancehall (and Pat isn't just for the cowboys, the preps like him too).

Saw a lot of Toby Keith - When they play "I love this bar" at work all the dancers sing along out loud. LOL. Also Toby's "I'm just talkin' bout tonight" seems like it would be good.
I also think Phil Vassar's "I'll Take That as a Yes" is fun and flirty. Something about a foot rub and a hottub and a french kiss on a bear rug. LOL.
