    Default Futuristic Theme Show

Here's one i need your help on, have to put together a Futuristic Theme Show within the next week.

Now what makes it so hard is that the music can't be heavy or it can't loosely based on the Matrix series. More Futuristic Space than anything.

So far i've got an intro
The start of Toccata Al Fugue [Techno Mix] mixed in with the start of Coma - Pendulum.

From there it's a blur, thinking of using Madonna's Impressive Instant and found a techno version that i could mix with the normal version. Also Kylie Minogue's Light Years is on the list.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Time is running out

If you want some real trance try George Acosta the song is "Welcome to the future" and the name of the cd is "Awake".

A good filler piece would be Pink Floyd's - On the Run from Dark Side of the Moon. You have the sound of the clocks and that great ambient bass

Are you just planning on mixing some songs together or are you able to insert loops of your own?

How about Electric Barbarella by Duran Duran? If you are a serious music collector, I would get ahold of the HMB CD Great Industrial Love Affairs. Very futuristic. If you wanna get nutty with it, Try Aphex Twin's Come to Daddy.....that may be too "out there" though. Cabaret Voltaire is futuristic music.....I find it amazing how futuristic retro industrial is, like a Split Second/Rigor Mortis.

    etc, etc.

You're in luck Lewi, as I have been working on a futuristic theme my self. Not being able to have a heavy edge is a limitiation, but try the following:

"Space man" by Babylon Zoo - vocal and non vocal remix version
"Theme for great cities" by Simple Minds or remix "The real life" by Raven Maize
"hallo spaceboy" by david Bowie and pet shop boys
"Space odyssey" and "Ashes to ashes" by Bowie
"are friends electric" by tubeway army / gary numan, plus other remixes of the latter on his Cleopatra remix album like "cars" & "We are glass".

Hope this helps and that it's not too late!

Feels so good by Jamiroquai would be perfect! But you might want to edit out the first minute

I would like to thank everybody for their input into this show, the lady in question went on holiday's over christmas period and expected her costume to be ready when she got back, well that was about 3 weeks ago, so i've been given more time than expected. So i will be able to use some of your suggestions.

*Thanks Chad, your input has been great.

*Juliette_deSade - I was thinking of the Barabarella style theme at first but Electric Barabarella didn't seem to fit with everything else. Your other suggestions are great though

*bdoc - Yes everything will be mixed, including samples and loops and anything else i can think of. If I couldn't find the right narration for the intro, i was going to go into the studio and have a female voice recorded

*For everybody else's suggestions like Jamiroquai, Bis, Benny Benassi and all the others, i have taken them on board to see what will fit
