The Texas Pin-up Stripteuse!
I regularly dance to "Under My Thumb" by the Rolling Stones. It's a lot more pop-y and oldie-sounding than most of their songs, but it's such a great stripping song.
Love,

Any Basement Jaxx lovers out there? Some of their stuff is great to groove to. I'm really feeling ''Living Room'' from their Kish-Kash album. I like that one! I wanna use that when I get on stage, it's short but sassy!!! ''Good Luck'' from the same album is also great.![]()

I like that Warm Leatherette song lol. It has such a catchy little sound. It reminds me of dancing with this lady I used to know at the goth club I worked at. Actually, she was a guy, but anyway that song reminds me of her. I liked her, she was really cool. Hmmm, paired with some black vinyl and constrasted with a semi-perky attitude, that song could surely work. It is definitely unusual for the stripclub!Originally Posted by Juliette_deSade link=board=7;threadid=3684;start=msg82255#msg82255 date=1078770834
"can't you hear me knocking (cocaine eyes" rolling stones... i love this song... it's not on any of the rolling stones albums that i know of... i found it on the blow soundtrack... anyway i love it!!!

Nellie McKay, won't you be nice
She's brand new...this song has a slow jazzie feel, but she takes her punches at the married man...sometimes they get it, and sometimes not. they usually laugh.
Let me know if you like it too.
It's on "Sticky Fingers": Can't You Hear Me Knocking, track 4Originally Posted by heidi link=board=7;threadid=3684;start=msg91833#msg91833 date=1081077027

Katrine, try "The Gap" by Thompson Twins, an eighties band, vaguely proto-techno. It has a very pronounced Middle Eastern Belly Dance sound, and shouldn't be any problem to get them to play whenever you want, if they play eighties stuff at all.Originally Posted by Katrine link=board=7;threadid=3684;start=msg86174#msg86174 date=1079733778
It is a very long song at over 7 minutes so be sure to tell the DJ to cut it--this can be done easily at about 3 minutes or a little further.

Btw, Pamela, you're thinking of Scott Weiland and Stone Temple Pilots - they did Vaseline. Cool song, though. And I absolutely love Chris Cornell w/ the old Rage lineup. Audioslave rocksOriginally Posted by Pamela link=board=7;threadid=3684;start=msg43603#msg43603 date=1057850762

I think I'm bringing back an old thread here, but this n00b needs to put in her funny list:
Love Reality by Reggie and the Full Effect.... this song is so bad that you just have to love it.
love is a battlefeild by pat bennetar.... army outfit, anyone?
Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet
Rock the Casbah by The Clash
Big Spender... you know, the showtune?
She by the Misfits

I guess this goes here:
Hooverphonic - Eden (Sarah Brightman Enigma remix)
you live like an ivy vine
you can only survive by clinging onto trees
that's your flaw
put down some roots so you can stand on your own
-Kenpachi

fun for me - moloko (i love that song, and i always make money to it)
this shit will fuck you up - combichrist (very basic and industrial, but still good for most main stream customers)
you suck - the yeastie girls (its raunchy as hell, but i dont care, and i make money to it)
a girl like you - edwyn collins (its from the empire records soundtrack)

'Pillar of Davidson' by Live ....so wrong for a nudie bar if it's tips your after...but if you wanna make a point...
I've danced to it.

I need a samurai outfit for this set but I've still danced to it cause I still like the beat of the music. I'm a big adult swim fan and these are songs off some of the anime cartoons I've watched
The beginning theme to Samurai Champloo
The beginning theme to Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
And One of the ending themes to Inuyasha
Amazing the shit you can download off the net.
