Crystal Method is the best techno to play when there are rockers in the house, as it is not too far removed from that genre. During Race Week two years ago I relied heavily on them (along with a little White Zombie and such) to keep the rednecks happy without having to knuckle under and play the same old dinosaur rock and country songs all the other local DJs had to play.

It worked...

With only SIX girls in the house (my manager was a colossal a**hole and could not keep dancers in the club, and it wasn't all that big to begin with), none of whom could take the time to sit and chat with the customers--as they were too busy in VIP or onstage, we kept a standing-room-only crowd very happy all night, and made a pile of cash.

But I digress...

The Crystal Method remix CD "Community Service" has an outstanding remix of P.O.D.'s "Boom".

This song is so hot that it is worth getting the CD for it alone. The rest of the tracks are good, but a little too heavy on the Drum and Bass sound to use in a SC. I do like the Koma and Bones tracks, however.
