    Default songs from the 1980s??

What songs from the 80s are good to dance to? I love 80s rock. Here's a couple I've got so far:

~ Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me
~ Poison - Sexual Thing; Talk Dirty to Me; I Want Action

Any other good ones you can think of??
    Thanks!!

Check out the "Donnie Darko" soundtrack. It is set in 1988 and has some great music in it. BTW, it is the best film I've seen in awhile. Jake Gyllenhaal, yum!

Okay, I just checked out the score on the soundtrack and none of the 80's pop songs are on there. I found out what they were though!

My favorite:"Head Over Heels" by Tears For Fears

"The Killin Moon" by Echo and the Bunnymen

"Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division

"Under The Milkyway" by The Church

    "Notorious" by Duran Duran

"Mad World" by Tears for Fears

Right now I can't think of how all of the songs go except for two. I would dance to "Head Over Heels" and have actually already thought about it. "Mad World" is a great song, but way to depressing.

    Hope this helps!

    OMIGOD Kobi-

I can't believe you mentioned Donnie Darko. I loved EVERYTHING bout that movie-so sad! And Yes, the soundtrack. Mad props girl. Especially with that song list. Sorta Goth-y radio friendly in feel. Any joy division is fantastic.

Under the Milky Way Tonight is a beautiful song for a SC.

Check out the thread entitled "The 80's? Fabulous!!!" in the music mix section. We have all the ideas

I was introduced to "Donnie Darko" 7days, 20hours,12minutes, 42 seconds ago (get it? A little inside joke if you've seen it). I had never even heard of it before. I've seen it 3 times since. I recommend it to everybody! I think "Under The Milky Way Tonight" would be great to dance to.

"Under the Milky Way" is one I dance to a lot. I LOVE that song! Of course, I loved it when it first came out too. For just listening, that whole Church album is really one of the better ones from that time period.
