My all time fave is "Peek-a-boo" by Siouxsie. Fun to dance to.

There's Chris Rock's "No Sex In The Champagne Room." It's not really a song, but I've heard it played in a couple of clubs before.
Hi, my name is Sleepy and I'm powerless over strippers...

"The Stroke"- Billy Squire.
"Touch Too Much"- AC/DC.

Wyclef Jean - Stripper Song
The dumb kid is back!

"Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves" - Cher
A classic, but one people rarely consider. And DEFINITELY about stripping...

I'm currently listening to "Love Removal Machine" by The Cult on the radio. Very cool song to strip to.
Although it is not about stripping and it is a little slow, the best response I have ever gotten from any song is "Black", by Pearl Jam. It could be because when I hear it I get into a zone, and I'm sure the customers can sense that. I just move slow and sexy like I'm the only one there. Interestingly enough, the song turns me on, and I'd bet that no matter what the song, no matter which type of dancer or crowd, it will always get a good response when the dancer has that type of reaction to it. The customers, IMO, can feel that.![]()

Don't know who sings it, but i thought evry1 had heard it. "I'm a stripper....................................so unzip your zipper...................". It goes on and on, but the beat is duh, duh, dun.........uh, duh, duh, dun............uh. Its sung by some chick, I'll ask the DJ or maybe one of the ones on the board knows what I'm talking about. There is a cd, not the tired cd strip club joints...i hate that cd, but a cd called songs about strippers.
Tabledance by tela is another.
Nastydancer by kilo.

When I first heard "She is Beautiful" by Andrew W.K. I thought it was tailor made for dancing at a SC, yet Ive never heard it in one."She Is Beautiful" by Andrew W.K.
"Erotic City" by Prince
"Erotic City" is standard fair at one Club I go to. You can hear it like 3 times in one night, and Ive heard it at least once on every trip. This isnt a complaint, because it is a great song to watch someone dance to.

"Dance 4 Me" By RAP BASTARDZ: Chorus is "So raise a glass to the girls stackin' their cash from shakin' their ass and sellin' romance. Dance for me girl, dance for me girl, DAYUM!"

Gangsta Boo- Can I get paid ( Stripper's Anthem )
It's a good one especially if the crowd is being kinda cheap

I can't believe I made it through the whole thread without a reference to the quintessential song about stripping: She's A Beauty by The Tubes:
Step right up, and don’t be shy…because you will not believe your eyes
She’s right here behind the glass…and you’re gonna like her, cuz she’s got class
You can look inside another world…you get to talk to a pretty girl
She’s everything you’ve dreamed about…
Chorus:
But don’t fall in love…she’s a beauty
She’s one in a million girls…she’s a beauty
Why would I lie…why would I lie?
You can say anything you like…but you can’t touch the merchandise
She’ll give you every penny’s worth…but it will cost you a dollar for it
You can step outside your little world…you can talk to a pretty girl
She’s everything you’ve dreamed about…
2nd Chorus:
But don’t fall in love…she’s a beauty
She’s one in a million girls…one in a million girls
Why would I lie…why would I lie?
But don’t fall in love…cuz if you do you’ll find out she don’t love you
She’s one in a million girls…one in a million girls
Why would I lie…why would I lie?
(Guitar Solo)
Step outside your world…
2nd Chorus (repeat to fade)
"Women, not girls, rule my world" - Prince
"No parking on the dance floor" - Midnight Star
"Stripper" by Miss Kitten & the Hacker
European electronica... kind of fun, though. Oh! AND done by a woman
Currently dancing at the Men's Club of Reno, NV
under the name of Veronica! I am a 2007 calendar girl for MCR, so message me if you want a calendar!
Yes. I love Miss Kittin. Have Miss Kittin and the Hacker as well as Goldenboy and Miss Kittin. Really good, fun, catchy music.
Oh, definitely "Take it Off" by Debra DeSalvo. If you haven't heard it and/or can't find it, go to and have a listen. PURRRRRRRRRRRRFECT stripping song!

Another stretch:
"Limelight" - Rush.
Lyrics are fairly applicable to the life of a stripper.
Mccain
Striptease by Hawksley Workman. Also check out the Darkwave Mix of this. Mixes very well with Closer by NIN.
If you are not that shy:
Lords of the Acid - Stripper (I prefer this one)
If you are into country-rock style:
Kid Rock and Hank Williams Jr. - Naked Women and Beer
Experience is one thing you can't get for nothing.

"Dance Naked" by John Mellencamp tends to go over well in most of the clubs I've worked at. I know it's really really cliche, but "I Touch Myself" by the Divynls. And doesn't "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol mention something about a dancer? Also I really like Dope's version of "You Spin Me Around"
centerfold by j. geils band
girls girls girls by motley crue
volvo driving soccer mom by ???
the stripper by david rose orchestra
rob zombie has a cd entitled something like "american music to strip by"

Volvo Driving Soccer Mom is a new Everclear song, I believe.
