" I Know What Boy's Like " it's originally done by The Waitresses but there is a killer remake of it by Li'l Kim and Puff Daddy. both IMO and worthy

On Wyclef Jean's album The Ecleftic: 2 Sides II a Book he has a song called Perfect Gentleman. It's kind of old but, it's a fun song. He tells his mom that he's in love with a stripper and the stripper talks about her dancing skills and why she dances.

And from R Kelly's TP-2.com there's a slow R&B ballad called Strip For You and a more uptempo one called Fiesta. In Fiesta he's giving props to all the dancers in the club.

Patricia the Stripper by Chris DeBurgh. Funny song, not exactly everyone's type of dance song, but can be fun for choreographed and costumed shows. Kind of burlesquey.

i am looking for a song by annie lennox or the eurythmics and i think it's called "striptease." it's about stripping. i've only heard it twice. if you know of any other good songs please let me know. i am also trying to find a techno song called "Body Exotica"? or something like that. i hear it all the time but am not sure of the name or artist.

FYI "Feelin' Love" by Paula Cole is a wonderful song to dance to!

    Down on Main street---Bob Seger

Lips and Hips---forget, some eighties big hair band

    Girl Money---Kix

    stretch...Fancy==Reba McEntire

    Dancing on Glass---Motley Crue

Women will be the Death of Me, but What a Way to Go--country song, don't know the artist

The Lap Dance is Better When the Stripper is Cryin----A god awful song that no DJ of a striptease club would DARE have in his collection!

I just thought of that song by The Human League called "Don't You Want Me"

And "Devil Bunnies" by Thrill Kill Kult

"Do You Think I'm Sexy?" by the Revolting Cocks

There is another one called "I'm Horny"!!!!

    Groove Armada is always good.

    And the Pixies "No.13 Baby"

Lil' Kim "I Taste Just Like Candy"

That's all until next time. Over and Out.

    Amber Waves
    well he lit you up
like amber waves in his movie show
he fixed you up real good
till i don't know you anymore
from ballet class to a lap dance
    straight to video
    and the pool side news
    was that he would be
    launching you

    [CHORUS:]
    into every young man's
bedroom - you gave it up
    on dvd and magazine -
    you gave it up
    a private rite of passage
    you gave it up
    to every boy's sweet dream
    with their paper cuts

    you said "he's got a
    healing machine
    it glows in the dark
    glows in the dark:
you say "there's not a lot
    of me
    left anymore -
    just leave it alone.
but if you're buy, and you have
    the time, tell the northern
lights to keep shining - lately it seems like they're drowning"

    he cold light you up
    and summon every swan
    or the lakeside
    off to cabo san lucas
    for some optical stimulus
    then you started to guess
    there was someone else
    though his flint glass
    seeing all of you
    immersed in his sepia

    [CHORUS]

    so i went by -
    cause i had the time,
    and told the northern lights
    to keep shining
they told me to tell you -
    they're waving

THE MEN ARE ALL THE SAME YOU DON`T LOOK AT THEIR FACES AND YOU DON`T ASK THEIR NAMES YOU DON`T THINK OF THEM AS HUMAN YOU DON`T THINK OF THEM AT ALL YOU keep ur mind on the money and eyes on the wall

the faint :: worked up so sexual

i see you work at night, are you sexually amused? what's it like to have a room of guys encircling you? how she moves, how she walks. they all patiently await while the heat from in their pockets could burn marks into their legs. without your needs and your support she'd have a job the same as ours - nothing daring. would she miss a job that's sexual? in every city there are dozens of these clubs where men can go. some people need a little challenge to their fantasies at home. there's a little tiny number on a fold of matches, the ink drips from a little dancer's pen. everybody wants that fold of matches to reinflate their confidence. hey, it is a job, it pays a lot. is it disservicing someone? and is it good to get these men worked up so sexual? older dancers gag at what new talent seems to mean. smaller tits and younger limbs can cause a fit of rivalry.

How about these to add to your mega-mix:
AC/DC- Got You By The Balls, Thunderstruck, Fire Your Guns
    Aerosmith- Beyond Beautiful
the real Van Halen- Little Dreamer, Secrets, Drop Dead Legs
Lords of Acid- The Most Wonderful Girl
    The Divinyls- Elsie
    Sneaker Pimps- Post-Modern Sleaze
    Creed- Beautiful
    The Cult- Fire Woman

I would throw money for anyone one of these.

Can't remember if this has been mentioned before and I'm too lazy to run through the thread to check, but:
Several songs by Miss Kittin. Stripper, Stock Exchange and Frank Sinatra off the top of my head. Some Stripper lyrics are "My girlfriend is a stripper, in a Swiss peep show, dancing on a carousel....". Can't remember Stock Exchange lyrics, but Frank Sinatra always makes me laugh - "vip area.....we eat caviar and drink champagne.....suck my cock, lick my ass.....frank frank sinatra......" LOL

Oh, and one of my still current faves to dance to is Nackig by Duse, Tomcraft remix. It's German so only German-speaking customers undertand it, but a rough translation goes something like "naked, let's get naked, your body is hot, get your hot body naked". I had no idea what it said but just liked the song, until one night I danced to it and there were two German guys on a business trip in the club - they came running all excited to the stage tipping me, thanking me for dancing to a German song and asking for dances. LOL. I got them to tell me what it says....

    Pussy Control-Prince
    Naughty Girl-Vanity 6

    A Perfect Circle....Magdalena

    Overcome by your moving temple
Overcome by this holiest of altars

    So pure, so rare
To witness such an earthly goddess
That I've lost my self control
Beyond compelled to throw this dollar
Down before your holiest of altars

    I'd sell my soul
    My self-esteem a dollar at a time
    For one chance, one kiss
One taste of you, my Magdalena

    I bear witness
This place, this prayer, so long forgotten
    So pure, so rare
To witness such an earthly goddess

    That I'd sell my soul
    My self-esteem a dollar at a time
    For one chance, one kiss
One taste of you, my black Madonna

    I'd sell my soul
    My self-esteem a dollar at a time
    One taste, one taste
One taste of you, my Magdalena

    "Sex", by Berlin

    "Obsession", by Animotion

Since we're getting into 80's music with this thread.

Neither song is written specifically with stripping in mind, but both might as well have been. I have always suspected Meredith Brooks of ripping off "Sex" with that grossly inferior "Bitch" song.

Both these songs have a driving, kind of proto-techno beat, and great lyrics for stripping.
You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.
    Friedrich Nietzsche

Free your mind, and your ass will follow.
