...or would the added stress of running an appointment schedule be more trouble than its worth.
Have any of you gals ever considered using an appointment system to set up times for dances. Not VIP room sessions but just plain old dances! I don’t just mean using this for your high dollar regulars who can afford VIP or to buy out your shift, but even for your more casual regulars who might see you once a month and only drop about $60-100 a visit on you. Ever thought of starting an e-mail list where they could contact you to set up an exclusive block of time that would be theirs (even one as short as 20 minutes). Such a thing sounds kind of tacky, but if you hate to hustle, think about all the trouble an appointment schedule might save you.
Ever had those nights where you had multiple regulars in attendance? Where the first guy there was preoccupying a lot of your time and you were worried that by giving all that time to him that you might be making the other guys mad. Don’t you wish that you could set up an appointment list on your slower nights to make those shifts more profitable? It might also help free up your busier shifts when hustling dances is a lot easier proposition (you could use them as an opportunity to add more guys to the list).
Perhaps in an slumping economy where you’d like to ensure every sale that you possibly can, it would be an inexpensible business tool, although for some gals who might not be so organized, such an idea might only serve to drive them batty.
I have some suggestions on how something might work because I think that for the right kind of dancer I think that it would be a great idea. I kind of wanted the ladies input first on the advantages or drawbacks of setting up appointments and your experience with such a system if you’ve ever tried it.
