Ladies:
I have heard that some of you ladies like a certain cologne on guys when they come into the club.
What is the top one you enjoy?

As long as you are freshly showered, shaven - the cologne is pretty much an afterthought. Clean clothes, etc.
Nothing worse than some schmuck going commando in sweatpants with a work jacket, and full days growth of beard. UGH.

My little brother wears old spice, I think Its making a comeback.
I like the clean irish spring scent on a man.

LOL Prester. It's cool water for me. [pimp]
[oogle] I LUV a man that smells "shower fresh". The less cologne, the better for me. Cologne seems to just "mask" a man's natural smell. Although sometimes when combined with a fresh shower, light cologne can be pretty intoxicating.
Amethyst

Am I the only woman out there who is hooked on men's mist - not the cologne? (ya'll use too much sometimes)
Some of my faves,
Hugo
Hugo Boss
Cool Water
Just about all of versace
Eternity (some teenage crush thing....lol)
Drakkar (damn cheap but I still love the scent)
Above all though, just do a quick shower if you work in construction and sweat a lotPlease, pretty please

Amethyst, it is funny that you mentioned a man's natural scent...
Cologne is our attempt, men and women both, to accentuate or replace nature's own cologne, the pheremones we constantly produce, and that influence our behavior and mutual attraction far more than we know. We remain intelligent animals, really, not all that far above Neanderthals, if you want to be realistic (right Leigh? LOL). When people talk about the "chemistry" between them, it's not just a figure of speech.
With millions and millions of human animals running around on this earth, it should come as no surprise that some individuals have more powerful natural scents than others. There was a peasant boy in 19th century Russia who was so effective in his seduction of local females that a written record has come down to us of his exploits. Brace yourself, this is kind of wierd and might freak you out at first, but remember, truth is stranger than fiction...
He was smart enough, peasant though he may have been, to figure out why he did so well, and to aid the process, he came up with this trick. During the vigorous Russian dances they held, he would place a handkerchief under his arm, and at the end of the dance would offer it to his partner in a chivalrous gesture. The ladies, overwhelmed by his "super pheremones", would invariably be smitten with desire, and were easy conquests.
I'm sorry if this grosses you out, but it is a true story, and I would certainly not recommend it for merely mortal smelling men, LOL!
Since I don't have super pheremones, I am actually very paranoid about showering and wearing clean clothes, brushing my teeth (and I always keep mouthwash in the booth and use it frequently). I started this a few years ago when I taught some classes on drawing for interior designers. Since they are all women (with the occasional gay dude), I realized that it was in my interest to always be very clean smelling!
I do like to wear Paco Rabanne, sometimes, because it is more subtle...

Colonge is nice, but it is an individule thing. Something that smells great on one person, might be totally wrong for another. Just use the colonge that you like and you think smells good on you. Don't put on too much. So often the guys have on so much colonge , that I end up smelling like him after a lap dance. Then I have to take time to go an swab off with baby wipes so I smell like a girl again. Also nothing can beat the freshly showered clean smell.

I am very olfactory driven so a clean guy with a nice natural scent is my ultimate. I can't remember a single guy I've dated in the last 10 years that has worn cologne. If one must, however... a spritz in the air and then a walk through that scent cloud will leave the nicest hint of scent mixed with that lovely musk of "boy skin". (Yes, you can have "boy scent" at 70, even)
I make kitty purring noises for a favorite customer who followed this ritual in a cloud of Egoiste. But it was what worked with his chemistry and he knew it... *sigh*
Currently dancing at the Men's Club of Reno, NV
under the name of Veronica! I am a 2007 calendar girl for MCR, so message me if you want a calendar!
Some favs: Swiss Army, Addidas Moves, Hugo, Clinique Happy for men.
Again, if your skin smells faintly of soap and your hair faintly of shampoo that's enough for me. Clean smelling is the safest bet...everybody likes clean.
One, maybe two squirts of cologne guys....max. Subtle is sooooooo much sexier than smelling you when I walk by. (however, sometimes dancers need to be reminded of this too...lol)
" If I can't be a good example, then I will just have to be a terrible warning."
Drakkar is my all time favorite, but Hugo is nice also.![]()
Interesting. My current boy told me he has noticed that dancers he has dated (oddly enough he has had one other serious gf that was a dancer and went out on dates with a couple others, thankfully no one I know) seem to not like cologne so much. I personally would much rather smell his scent. I like armpits (should I be admitting this?) Not icky with B.O. but just with a slight sweat smell...DAMN... MY bf thinks it's odd but I'm no fool, it's the pheremones BABY!
For colognes I do like:
Curve
Cool Water
and I think Gravity (cant remember)
Every now and again I will smell someone at work that I DONT recognize and like and ask him what it is...but most colognes are OVER DONE and they wear WAYYYYYY to flipping much!
curve for men

I don't know men's colognes at all, sorry. I do know when I like a guy's smell, and it has less to do with the cologne and more to do with his personal scent and being clean and groomed. The best cologne is the one that smells best on YOU - different ones react to different people's ph differently.
Lol, different, different, differently. One should never use the same word three times in the same sentence, but oh well! It's late and I'm tired!
I LOVE the scent of healthy boyskin accented with some exotic oil. I go absolutely wild! That's for personal, real attraction though.
For the club, men that are clean....that's enough for me. A man's scent never caught my attention there.
But the healthy boyskin men-----sometimes I stop dead in my tracks in the middle of everything, looking around wildly thinking OMIGOD! I smell him, where is he???
Such an impact they had with just a scent! Weaving a fragrant heartheavy web......damn.

In the club - no scent is good scent. Shower fresh is also good. I hate dancing for someone smelling either of BO or cologne and coming away smelling like him. I wish men paid more attention to what their breath smelled like, though. Sour milk, onions, salad dressing - I actually have names for the most common bad breath smellsI really wish they would stop panting in my face [puke]
Outside of the club though, a man's natural smell is the best! I don't like cologne or perfume or mists, I like to smell the person I'm with. I actually kind of like armpits too, cassidykarma.
My boyfriend used to have this very "shower fresh" smell (it has since disappeared) that I could never quite put my finger on (laundry detergent? deodorant?) but it drove me crazy! I have smelled it on a few other guys and it gets me looking/sniffing around wildly for the source. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) it has always been on some middle-aged guy with his wife at the grocery store or something like that.
There is a product called "Afta" by Mennen. Its an aftershave gel that is soothing and leaves a nice fresh smell. Then a little Leave In conditioner. The combination of both is available on the shelf at any drug store, they are both cheap, and get a lot of purrrrrs... from the ladies.

"Crome" smells nice, but Tiana put it well when she said,(ya'll use too much sometimes)
Just a dot is more than enough.
Swiss Army
Clinique's "Happy" for men
Estee Lauder's "intuition"
