Massages can range anywhere from $100-$250. I have no idea what the house takes or how many you do a day. In NYC im sure the volume is pretty good. Your hands will get tired. I know a girl that does it on the side. She posts adds on Craigslist and does a few a week.

Just for info, many states require a license (which usually requires fairly extensive schooling) for massage and many do not. Usually in the states where a license is required, you can't use the word "massage" unless you are licensed. States that don't have licensing don't have this restriction. So in a state that requires a license, anyone advertising "massage" will generally be legitimate and non-sexual (although there are exceptions.) In such states a term like "bodyrub" will signify a sexual massage. In non-licensed states it's harder to tell who is legitimate and who isn't, although the legitimate people will often advertise that they are AMTA-certified. And you can usually tell about the spas by their hours - the ones offering sex will advertise something like "open til 11 pm, walk-ins welcome." Legitimate places are rarely open late at night and almost always require an appointment I believe that AMTA (American Massage Therapists Assn.) has info on state licensing requirements on their web site. FL has pretty strict massage licensing requirements for both therapists and spas. I'm friends with an ex-stripper who went to school in FL and became a licensed massage therapist and is doing fairly well without offering any sexual services.

I know this forum is old but leebay if hour still here? You mention ny? I'm interested in doing bodyrub but add fetish and domm with to go almost legit. Offer the fetish and domm first and the sensual massage at the end. And hj with steady clients. And what is the difference btw working with a studio or an agency? I know there's independent and since I'm unemployed and nearly out of money I can't go independent yet.

If anyone is from ny or familiar with it pls give your suggestion.

An establishment that offers happy ending massages will NEVER require a massage license. To obtain a massage license you must accomplish several hundred hours of formal education in a licensed school (which will cost you thousands of dollars) and then complete certain exams. It is not like getting a license to dance.

If you are nude or performing any sexual services you can say goodbye to that massage license and the hundreds of hours of and huge financial investment it represents.

If it is truly a jack shack massage parlour and they ask for a license, it is likely just to keep up appearances. Do your research about an establishment before you go in to apply. It'd suck to go to an honest spa and have the cops called on you.

As for how much you make, like anything in the adult industry it depends on what you charge, and what the traffic is like. $1,000 a week may happen for you, but possibly not in the first week.

Thanks that's why I've been looking at backpage, they have quite a few ads. But I haven't seen any with partnership especially to a newbie so I'll hAve to put the ad to request partnership with someone with more experience.

I see so many ads for these spas that i was curious if a dancer could make some good money doing that on the days off.

I am really scrambling to see what other options I would be willing to do in the adult market.
There are always ads for the local Asian places. They usually go by the name of “Sauna,” “Spa” or “Accupressure.” Tip for you guys – any place that says accu-pressure is a code word for massage parlor. On the flip side – if you go to any place that says accu-puncture – don’t bother asking the 70 year old Chinese guy who works there for a happy ending.

How would you go about asking a place if they are that type of business or not, without them thinking you might be a cop? If you don't have a man to go first and check it out, then is there like certain "code words" to use or ways to ask the questions?

    ^ You don't.
Book smoothly , show up on time, tip, be complementary. Then if you connect ask the person direct if they ever have any interesting options . The way to not have anyone want to see you is to be too needy without even being a paying customer yet.

Oh edit ... Are you a lady looking to work? Show up looking awesome and ask for the owner and tell them you do massage. Some Asian places are very tight knit. It may take a few tries. You can pm me with questions. You can often get a foot in the door by saying you have clients established.
