Oh i know that feeling, it sucks. Go with it for a few days, but don't mess with it, (trying to pop it or get it off) it should clear up in a few days. If you can walk around in a thong before work, and put a thick coat of tooth paste on it. Tooth paste is very drying sitting on dry skin. This may actally help it dry some and give the illusion of shrinkage.
Good luck,
pamela
These men should only be so lucky to see the pimple on your ass! Just ignore it, every body gets 'em, we've all seen 'em.

Try hydrocortisone on your little friend. It should help shrink it.
I know this is going to sound gross but bear with me. I got a pimple on my butt and it's right where I have to sit on it and it hurts everytime I sit on it and it's HUGE (so gross I'm sorry) I left it alone and it hasn't gone away and it's been almost a week and a half. What can I do about that? I tried toothpaste didn't help much, also tried ance wipes, nothing. I'm not dancing at the moment so I'm not too worried but just for future reference when I am dancing.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail!
If its really bad, go to a family practice doctor, or a dermatolagist and have them inject hydrocortisone directly into the pimple. Its actually not painful at all, and it will be gone in like 24 hours!
My doc friend used to do if for me all the time when I had a weird zit between my breasts that would not go away. After 2 injections, it never came back...I don't think its ridiculously expensive, but its not cheap....meow!

Try neutrogena's clarifying body wash. Seems to work pretty good.

How and why do you all get booty pimples? Is it from having you butt on the stage? or from sitting in the chairs w/ customers? I'm really curious. My only suggestion would be to use some Queen Helene Mint Juleup mask. It's great for shrinking pimples and washing blackheads away.

Oh there's a number of reasons! Yes, dirty stage, sitting on barstools with no towel ( the vinyl doesn't let your skin breathe and thus the sweat - yuck!) Sweating period, and not babywiping. So many reasons. Plus, some are just more suceptible (sp) to pimples anywhere on their body.

dangI've not danced yet and I already get these lil buggers on my tushie. I think it's b/c I sit in jeans all day long though.
What I do: after I shower I clean my lil tushie with a clearasil pad, then spray with toner and walk around letting my body dry before dressing.
Also after the area is super clean and dry you can add makeup if you are really concerned. That's worked "okay" for me. More than anything those lil pimples really test your confidence :/

Visene (sp?) the eye drops work well for taking the red color out of pimples, then just smush a little body make up on, and dance around
O.K don't laugh, but i use Tend Skin on my spots and they heal up pretty quickly.
(It's a lotion for ingrown hairs and razor bumps, you can get it at the beauty salon.)

Pop it with a sterilized needle then disinfect the area to prevent it from spreading. Use all the normal acne practices to prevent any new flair ups (ie .sanitizing and acne lotions at bedtime).

I usually bring a towel to sit on in the dressing room. About a week ago, I forgot my towel and tried to just sit on the edge of the chair in the dressing room. I ended up having a conversation w/ my manager and caught myself sitting in a relaxed position on the chair :o
Two days later, I had a light rash right above my tail bone.
It is gone now, but I have NEVER had anything like that.

I think some people just get them and some don't... I got them even before I started dancing especially when i started shaving all that area. Wearing tight clothes doesn't help either. I still get them sometimes usually on the side just below my hip.
I use Satin Hands Buffing Cream on my entire body and found that to be helpful in prevention. I don't break out like I used to. If i get a pimple anywhere I use Acne Treatment Gel. It usually clears up in a day or 2...
When I work a few days in a row I tend to get 'rough butt'--not pimples but not as smooth as an ass usually is. I've found that wiping down with clearasil pads every night helps keep it smoother.

Don't stress out over booty-bumps too much. I have to admit I have been plagued by them for my entire life it seems like- at least since I was 13 or 14 and started paying attention. Other than going to the dermatologist (who gave me expensive cream that didn't do crap) the suggestions that have already been listed work the best for me.. also tanning not only dries the skin but the darker color helps mask discoloration.
Just keep in mind you might not be "doing something wrong" to cause those pimples, and always make sure to shower immediately after work!!
