Do you believe that there are real psychics? If so, does anyone know of a real one in the San Diego or Las Vegas areas?

I've got this fantastic book by Ian Rowland on cold reading, so I may be able to pose as a psychic for you if you want.
(Seriously, if you read this book, you'll never be able to watch a John Edward [or Sylvia Brown or whoever] performance the same way again. Nearly everything they do is straight out of the book.)
I hate signatures, but I love irony.
LOL!

It depends upon to what you are referring. If it is telepathy, then no, I don't know of any. If it is a developed sixth sense, then you can likely do it yourself if you practice. Visit www.witchvox.com (or google "witchvox", that might not be the correct URL); there you can find local teachers and practitioners, as well as interesting articles. If you do start talking to locals, beware the nutcases. You'll know the real thing when you see it, but for every honest teacher there are five whack-jobs looking for nookie or an ego boost. Big tip for avoiding the latter:
Read "Lady Pixie Moondrip's Guide to Pagan Names." Not only is it hysteriucal,. but it can teach you to identify attention-seekers from a mile off, as the biggest clue is the Pagan name they select for themselves.
The best teachers I ever had the fortune to study under were, respectively, Maggie and CJ. The worst was White Wolf SunBear (who lacked so much as a drop of Native American heritage and couldn't identify a Coyote story if it bit him on the arse).
He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
hmmm well i guess a 6th sense...i personally believe that some people are gifted in that way and that everyone has it to some degree but like i said some more developed..i guess...thanks for the info...i will check it out
