Wondering if any of you ladies have worked there or know anything about it. Thank you in advance.

Hi giggly....
My friend used to work in one of the sister clubs around the corner.... she applied at the Gas light but they sent here to the club.
I haven't heard anything bad about this club, from what i have heard its actually very nice. Gas light is actually a hostess club but i think they also have TD ( but i'm not sure, will check and get back to you).
Anyway hun here's the website address..... http://www.gaslight-club.co.uk/
I will let you know more when i speak to my friend later.
Seraya.
Ps. Are you in the states and when do you plen on starting?
Hello and thank you for your reply. I am in France at the present moment. I saw the ad for the gaslight on tuscl.com and just wondered if anyone has had any experience working there. Sometimes hostess clubs are a little dodgy. Thank you again for your post and if you happen to come across anymore information i would appreciate it.
Giggly, have you work in Stringfellows, Paris or The American Show Bar in Paris? I called Stringfellows (London) to get the lowdown and they said it was quite successful. Thing is they are always looking for girls in Paris and that can either mean it's a) packed or b) the girls can't get away fast enough. Do you know what the REAL deal is with the French clubs? I know it's stricly no touching but what's the money like?
Merci!!

One of the reasons that the turnover in France is so regular, is because the clubs aren't allowed to hire local French girls so they have very few permanent dancers. They mostly all rely on girls from other countries. The authorities are strict about which nationalities they can employ. The clubs seem to be going well, and are more stable than the london clubs. They do go through some quiet times, same as everywhere, but it's pretty regular. There's good money to be made. The american show is a tiny club, and not at all on the scale of the three major clubs. Many of the girls don't stay long there, and move on to the big clubs.
Hope this helps!
Thanks Blonde. I was told I had to fill in forms to get work at Strings in Paris. It looks like an amazing club and I'd love to work there but I was just alittle wary.
I'll maybe see what I think later.

Just curious, can American girls work at these clubs?
There are american girls working in all three of the clubs in Paris. They don't all speak french either. Stringfellows and Pink Paradise are both very formal, no nonsense clubs. Hustler is more a fun and relaxed club.
Hope this helps?

To work at Stringfellows i'm pretty sure you have to have the right documentation....
Btw Sapphire you look soooo pretty in your avatar. Thats a really nice picture.
Seraya.

Bigblonde i was wondering who the money earning potential was in paris?
Thanx luv.....Seraya.
Hi Seraya...
If we all had a crystal ball! I know that it takes all types. Some girls do fairly well, and some do really well. The 1000€+ is still a possibilty, but not everyday! The french are just getting used to this concept of stripclubs, which are all relatively new to Paris. They all need to be chatted to, and for sure the "wanna dance" approach doesn't work here. For that reason, the girls with lots of personality can do well. (of course drop-dead gorgeous ones don't have to chat so much!) Some girls prefer Hustler, which is more relaxed, fun and individual and some prefer the long dressesmore formal style of Stringfellows. The housefee at Strings is alot, and at Hustler it's less. Let me know if you need more info...![]()

I remember we were discussing the girls at Stringfellows in London awhile back and they had a very nice site with some very pretty girls.
I wonder, what is the right documentation for an American to work in Paris (or elsewhere)? I'm not planning a trip but I am going to get my passport updated (just in case someone would like to whisk me away at a moments notice.)
Thank you Serraya. I've got a glass of wine in my hand (hence the big smile) but had to crop it out to fit in the avatar box.

Yea that was the first thread i ever started.... Sapphire you would need a work visa but i know that there are clubs here where you wouldn't need one and i'm sure in paris you wouldn't need one in every club either ( or should say you could get away with working without one).... Just not sure about Stringys though. Check out there site they always have info on the club in Paris. http://stringfellows.com/Originally Posted by Sapphire link=board=4;threadid=5672;start=msg63754#msg63754 date=1074304600
Thankyou bigblonde..... Also i was wondering if the clubs there get busy at all and if any of them actually pay the dancers?
Seraya.
Do you mean pay a salary, or just not pay them??? Where are you working in London Saraya? (If it's too cheeky to ask, of course)
You got it right on the visa front.

HI bigblonde i mean't do any of the clubs pay girls a salary?
I haven't started dancing yet cos of being sick and needing surgey bla bla bla BUT i'm getting fed-up of waiting, im so itching to work that i think i will start soon anyway.
I'm not really interested in working in London i've heard it aint that great at the mo and i think i will be better of travelling around Europe. I was thinking of Spain, Iceland, Switzerland, Germany, Paris and a few other places....
I was talking to my girlfriend a few minutes ago and we have decided to definitely try Paris in March/April.
Where are you now bigblonde? oh and i was wondering how the girls interact with the patrons do many of them speak English cos i can't speak French, even though my father is a frenchmen.
Seraya.
Sorry your sick! That's bad news.
Sounds like you've got itchy feet though. Have you been into strings in london? Didn't like it one bit. No charm.
Not all the girls speak in french, but most of them end up picking up the basics. There's plenty of english speaking clients too.
As far as I know all the clubs do pay their dancers what they owe them. (would bl**dy well think so too!) Pink pays weekly I think, and Strings and Hustler nightly.

LOL this thread should be re-named "clubs in paris" !
Sorry bigblonde so you mean that the clubs don't pay girls an extra salary for example minimum wage + money from dances... its just that i know some clubs in other countries pay the girls a salary on top of what they already make.
Btw where r u now? and have you worked in all three clubs? if so what was your fav? sorry for all the questions hun
Seraya.
No problem on the questions! I don't work as a dancer, but I do know how these clubs work. I do work in one of them though, in another capacity. Obviously it's my favourite. The thing is, I'm just trying to answer questions in an unbiased way. I don't want to push the club I work in, as I don't want to be branded as pushing any club. That's not my interest on SW. I log on because I have an interest in many of the threads, and am definately pro dancers, but I'm just trying to let you know the answers to your questions in an informative way! I'll keep answering... any more?
I definately think that it's great to have a job that can allow you to travel. Great oppurtunities, if you like to travel, of course.
Hello. I`m starting a club i norway and looking for europen
dancer sites?![]()
Just wanted to revive this thread
Big Blonde, I hope you're still alive and kickin'. Do you have any recent/more info on the Hustler club in Paris? Do you know the club's high seasons? I'm looking for other summertime options.
xxx

I'll help "keep this thread alive" too by asking if Australian dancers are able to dance at any of those clubs in Paris as well ???

Hi!
Yes, Australian girls can go to Hustler, but I not so sure about Stringfellows, you have to have a form called 101 to cover sickness and things like that.
I have dancers working at Hustler all the time, and that is a good club.

I'm going to start a new thread about dancing in Paris. Just because this one is about dancing in London...but got off track!
