Thanks Velvet. I have heard of the percentage point, but thought that applied to chips etc. Not the making and serving of food. Because that has stopped. 1 club does have outside eating. All the others over here serve bagged food crap.

Oh how is miss the smoke free clubs in CAli. ahhhh home :'( Florida is supposed to be putting out a ban too. The smoke gets me sick a lot more and kicks up my child hood asthma problem.

I would love to work in a nonsmoking club. Being in a smoky club for 8 hours a day is one of the few major health concerns I have about dancing long-term (along with what stilletto heels are going to eventually going to do to my feet and back). I don't begrudge anyone the right to smoke, but the law needs to recognize that if the person next to you excercizes their freedom to smoke, the next person's freedom may be violated because *everyone has to breathe,* and I *don't* get a choice whether or not to breathe that air. Which makes it complicated. *sigh*
Would someone be willing to provide a list of cities/states where no-bar-smoking legislation is currently being enforced? Here in Illinois we don't hear much about such things. Specific areas of interest: San Francisco and the rest of California.
