    Default wanna-be stripper

im 19 years old and attending college right now. but i was thinking maybe as a summer job, stripping would be a good idea. i dont have any experience stripping but i think its sounds fun and i could make some good money from it. what kind of money could i expect to make? i dont know where to go for info. how do i go about getting a job at a club? im in good shape and ive been told i am very attractive. what do i need to do/look like to become a stripper? and do u even recommend me trying this line of work? thanks

Well, that makes me feel a little better. I hope that the age thing is not an issue. I have made a promise to myself that this is something that I want to do before I turn 30. I guess I better hop to it then huh?? lol

You think 28 is old?! Honey, I just started dancing a few months ago.....I will be 47 next month! And guess what? I make as much, if not more, money than girls who are half my age. My biggest tippers are guys under 30.

That's good to know, cause I'm 28 and I'm hitting that stage eventually!

    Fantastic!
I am 35 and there are plenty of women my age stripping and a quite a few older than me too. I don't know why so many people worry about being old when they're in their 20's! There are plenty of "am I too old threads" here also

well im also 19 and ive been dancing 4 a year now. or a little over a year. at the lap dance club i work at we actually have to college girls who are sisters who work there. as far as the money u make depends on u. where i work there is only high milage lap dances and they are 10 a song. most guys get way more than just one. as far as stage i have best friends who do it and some girls say they make 200 at a 2 in the afternoon booking or more and not even be really talkative or do any pole work. just be friendly and act like u want to be there. and u will absolutely make bank!!!
LOok at me!!! men who spend money... im as innocent as can be!!! until we get outside...

I started at 25. In a lot of ways, I'm glad I started a little later. I'm more focused, less naive, and much wiser with my money. I would've been a train wreck if I started any younger, I just wasn't mentally or emotionally confident enough back then. So, I think starting at 28 isn't a big deal.

Het, how much you make depends on how you hustle, where you live, and the type of club you work at. Check out for your basic newbie info.

Ha, when I first started ( a couple months ago lmao) the bartender asked me how old I was. I was like, "oh I'm 22" she was DAM, you're OLD!!

I just laughed and she apologized but she explained that alot of girls get into this at the tender age of 18 and get swept up in the process. Nope, that won't be me babe!

Het, I will suggest though, if you're going to work over the summer (depending on area) you need to be working as much as possible to stack your money. That way you won't have to think about money as much during the school year.

I started at 28, been at it for 8 years! Age ain't nothing but a number, especialy when you look better than the younger girls you work with! (sorry, had to toot my own horn! )

if you start during the summer, make sure that you are actually working, not hanging out, not just talking with custys. You are there to make money! And also save your money-it may seem like you are making a lot because you've never had that kind of cash available before, but if you acutally think about it, it's not all that much, (the clothes, makeup, hair products, shoes, gas mileage, etc.) especially if you need to pay for school for the year. Don't get swept up into it!

I want to dance before I'm 40 (I've got 2 more years before I turn into a pumpkin...lol). Some of my favorite dancers are in their 30s or 40s - better conversationalists too! (no offense meant to the younger girls - ya'll are so gorgeous). I don't think age (or weight) is a major factor.
