I finally got my first night over with. All in all it was pretty good. Customers were real gentlemen.
Were your 1st night's earnings similar to what you make now? I made $270 with no stage work (too scared) in Houston, is that average?

It seems like my girlfreind makes less the first few nights than her potential. For instance, we just moved to florida a few weeks and she was averaging about 300 per night at her new club. Now over the past week, her average has been about 500. She said she is getting repeat customers (soon to be regualrs) and she has learned the in's and outs of the club. And you have to know your competition. You need to be unique to the other girls, you need to stand out. It can be a unique ourfit, trick, personality, ect... This is not the only club where her earninge has gone up over the first few weeks either, this happens wherever she works. And she was worried she wasn't going to make any money in FL, she made 2300 in 4 nights being CLEAN. And her competition is DIRTY! Not as good as 3k in ny, but close enough.

It depends. In some small clubs, you might make more your first night because customers are checking out the new girl. If you worked the new thing, you probably made some extra money with it but you'll soon find another angle to work. In most cases your earnings will go up after the first day or two.

I worked day shift my first time, and I did go up on stage, I made $182. I did however sit down and eat lunch, and I guess the long break I took let my muscles finally feel the burn because I spent the last 3 and a half hours sitting on the floor rubbing my legs in the locker room. I was really out of shape.

your earnings should go up, as you get better, more customer oriented...etc...
My first night, i only made $280, and thats that I was hiding in the dressing room, scared shitless...
Now I make wayyyyyy more than that because I am not intimidated or scared anymore.Good luck

$270 is EXCELLENT for your first night in Houston. Many girls who have been dancing for a long while can work 4-5 days in a row and not make that.
So far so good.
In hOuston that is fairly average. It depends on how much you exert yourself. What club are you at? That's a factor too. Don't beat yourself up. It was a pretty good night for your first night. Be prepared to consistently hover at that amount.

This is in reply to Juliette deSade's question, I'm @ Splendor for now. It's a smaller place which I feel is better for me to start out with. After I do it for a little while I'm definately going to hit up some other clubs.
Hopefully with a good stage show and new lap dance moves I'll be doing a lot better than the 1st night.
First night, and no stage work! I think that you did excellent!
Of course there will be slow nights in the future, you seem to be heading up the ladder. Now grab those regulars!!!

Good job!I think that's pretty good for a first night. Felt good didn't it??

Wow that is amazing. I just started my first dancing job at a small club in MA and made $158 dollars and thought that was good.

Jazmyne, the so called better clubs like St. James and Treasures have soooo many dancers that some of them are making more money at clubs like Splendor.
A girl I know works Splendor off and on and says she makes more than St. James because they have so many girls. She talked to a manager about me coming to work with her over there so I might try Splendor out in 2 weeks. You can work at those top clubs all day and night more times than I can count and leave without selling one dance. I know lots of dancers there. Trust me on that. If you have as many dancers as customers, everyone is not going to make money every night.
Plus lots of guys want more than a dance there. the stage is not important in Houston. To make money there you need to really learn how to talk it out of the guys. Stage tips are almost nonexistant. The dancer seminar that was posted here,www.dancerwealth.com would greatly help you in H-town.
Just hang in there and realize that some days you might not make anything in Houston and other days you might do ok. $270 is a B+ night for lots of girls.
You can't take for granted you will make money every time you work there.

I made about 250 my first night (a Friday), but it got stolen. :'( I learned real quick to never let it out of my sight!
