hmmm it was kind of strange,...
two guys came in pretty clean cut. one was pretty quiet the other really reallt talkative. so i go and do mky thing.... he asked tons of questions and asked me if we did ehh heeh anything else.. not for him but for his friend. i told him not me. i am not sure about the other girls but i couldn't offer him that.
never the less he still kept talking to me. still asking tons of questions and detailed questions too. like about the traffice about the rooms the time limets he noticed all the hidden cameras. we talked quiet a while i told him about the deth of my husband and how life was ruff, and the reasons i was dancing. lol half way thru i half jokingly said " you know if i didn't know any better i would think you are P>D> " he laughed at me and said you know you are a really smart girl and nice to so i will be honest with you. we are. i laughed and told him if he was eriuous then he better tell the special task force to step up the beat in my city cause it is going to hell in a handbag! after about 20 min he sid he was kidding about the cop thing,....but i know he was. he asked other girls about drugs. told me his friend was new as undercover. i was amazed. the other girls warned me to keep it cool ( what do they expect me to do with him anyways??!) cause they were pd. they didn't bust anyone that i know of,.... they were very nice to me as well. i just wonder if anyone .....well if this has happened to anyone.

I wasnt even doing anything wrong! It scared me, cuz I'm thinking why is he telling me this?! I started getting paranoid that I was doing something wrong! But I didnt see anyone getting in trouble...weird!

Alexislv - It is nice that your manager said something to you. I do not like cops because of the fact that they try to bust working women for dancing and call it prostitution. That is just not right. If they were to do something to help us like busting real hookers in the club who engage in acts of sexual penetration, then I would be glad for them to come into the clubs.

managers will tell all the girls if the cops come it. its just a general warning so you dont get taken away. they just are looking out for you. dont take it personally. just remember to know all the local laws and keep to them exactly when the cops are in, youll be fine.

to paraphrase an old movie line ... "and that is part of a DANGEROUS assumption" - in this case the dangerous assumption might be that that activities that the club owner TOLD you were legal, activities which have gone on day in and day out for years in the club's VIP room, are in fact against the law !

I can't tell you how many times I have encountered undercover cops in clubs. They usually ask the same sorts of questions, looking for a dancer to agree to a specific act in exchange for a specific price, snooping about on the subject of drugs, trying to get dancers to agree to after-hours meetings outside the club etc. They sometimes have the same tell-tale attributes also, i.e. short hair, shiny black boots, an authoritative manner.

I am glad that the manager said something...it was weird though because the whole weekend I was paranoid even though I know I wasnt doing anything wrong. I guess it's just scary because if a cop wants to get you on a technicality then they can! Melonie, that is a good point and I did think, sheesh have I been doing something that is technically illegal that the club before has said is ok. I have danced for 7 years on and off and have never once had a manager say something to me...so that was really weird! I was talking to one of the guys at the AVN who was a porn director and he said that vice was everywhere at the convention and tried to bust people for drinking alcohol which was weird since it was no problem at the beginning of the convention and suddenly on the last day it was. He thought that because we had Jenna Jamison and Gina Lynn dancing at the club that night was the reason vice was there. I work at a club that is considered very clean so it seemed a bit strange that they picked that night to come in. as far as I know, no one got busted so I guess I shouldnt worry....but it still scares me! LOL

You better believe there are cops in the stripclubs.

I don't know about you all out there, but there has been so much drug use and dealing going on in the clubs I have worked in, that this activity alone would guarantee it. Even in the more 'respectable' clubs, you are going to have dealers, and they are not necessarily going to broadcast their occupation through stereotypical dress, speech, or body language. A smart dealer will do his or her best to hide it. The cops still know they are there.

The fact that we here on SW are for the most part moderate in our (non) consumption of controlled substances should not fool us, we have all seen it, and how prevalent it is.

Also, in most areas, what goes on even in a clean lap dance is patently illegal. Guys getting their dicks rubbed by any part of the body, through any amount of clothing, is illegal in Florida, that's for sure.

Three out of the four clubs I have worked in have had ties to organized crime (in my case biker gangs). Of course this is unusual, but arrangements and agreements of questionable legality are common in almost any business where alcohol is served, even if it is just allowing the building inspector to drink free. The "Mob" may be an anachronistic term, but corruption and bribery of one sort or another is way more frequent than anyone would believe, even in "clean" clubs. Cops may not bust people for this, but they often know about it, and thus feel entitled to keep an annoying eye out for other things going on.

Vice cops are sadly deemed necessary almost everywhere in the USA, and they have to do something besides watch out for computer porn. The 'old lady' faction in every community can be assuaged by police monitoring of 'disreputable' establishments. And trust me, your average vice cop isn't going to bitch about getting paid to go to stripclubs, whether he acts like a gentleman or not.

The cops are there for all kinds of reasons. And they all look different.

They will keep track of the coming and goings. Watch what cars are in the parking lot taking down numbers, running plates for busts they can make as suspended lics drive out onto the roadway.

That guy who sits in the corner alone watching the comings and goings all night? Not a pervert - just a cop getting the social structure of who talks to who and who doesn't talk to who. If he talks with a dancer who is open about smoking some bud, then he knows he is interested in her friends. He probably is not interested in her non-stoner co-workers.

It is always your friends who will get your ass busted.

As you know, troublemakers tend to make appearances in sc's, so it is a good place of finding them. If they hear someone is in town, it's a good place to pick up a trail and go from there.

Like the above mentioned, the troublemakers bring their trouble with them - so in a way you might want to be glad the cops are there. Rapists, drug dealers, etc. no need for them to be scaring away the customers.

They keep an eye on some of the more exotic crimes - sc's are a cash business and it is pretty easy to launder money through them. Beats buying a boat load of coke-cola to clean the money through vending machine "sales."

The best way to notice if something is amiss, is to become familiar with what is going on normally.

Sure thing cops are in the clubs. I had a bunch of cop regulars when I danced. Like most guys with some money to burn, you'll find a few who are good customers. I actively cultivated cop regulars, especially Sergeants. They know what's going on and are usually good about giving a heads up if trouble is coming. Also, it's nice to know some of the white shirts when the you know what hits the fan! Or, if some creep is following me home, it's nice to pull into the Precinct House parking lot and chat with my buds in blue.

Another thing to remember is it's an election year and the local pols wouldn't mind a bit of "cleaning up" a trouble spot. So the pols will tell the bosses to look for stuff that they might otherwise ignore. Clubs are easy targets. They are public places so the cops don't need warrants, they can just go in as customers. They can ask any question they want because you aren't under arrest. And still anything you say can be the basis for probable cause to get a warrant if they want one, or just used to incriminate you. Basically, cops are usually cool if you are legit. If you're hooking or dealing, I'm glad that they are trying to catch you.

where I live and work, cops and vice are different. We've had some cops come in as customers before, usually Highway Patrol (good ole' CHiPs!) just looking for some fun. After all, cops are human too.

Vice is required to announce to management when they come in. They always come in groups of 2 or 3. The last few years I've noticed they come in dressed very regular ex: faded jeans, baseball hats. I haven't seen a suited vice in the club in a loooooong time. Now I have heard that while the initial group of vice announces their presence to mgt., they DO NOT have to announce if they have a decoy with them. Vice leaves but the decoy stays. Beware Lady Vice. She will nitpick and hand out citations like you would not believe.

Hi...I just had to reply on this...I stripped for about 7 yrs in the clubs in the New Orleans area. I have a thing for cops and know several that I am good friends with. They do go into the clubs as regular customers, but don't think that they aren't doing the survey thing in their heads at the same time. In fact one of my good friends I met while working...I mean I was dancing that night and he was undercover as well. We were friends for 2 years until he moved to TX to be an airmarshall. I've been known in the clubs that I worked in as the blood hound...I could sit and just say hello and sense if they were cops or even military....i use to have fun with them when they came in because I don't do anything that would get me nor anyone else in trouble ( drugs, solicitation, or anything illegal). I am somewhat of an angel....If you did have cops in your club they were probably snooping...If they didn't bust anyone then you can think of it as a good thing. The managers around here don't always know when vice is coming in...I have a friend that use to work with vice and they don't always have to tell the club. I know a club that got busted and no one even knew they were coming...
Don't sweat it unless you work with a lot of ppl that do illegal stuff...around here they take all girls for one or two that are doing illegal stuff...

I dont really know how it works in Vegas as far as if they take in just the offending girl or everyone. Since there is an average of 200 girls on my shift I would think they just take the offending girl. But on the other hand with 200+ girls there is probably someone doing something wrong and I guess that just scares me. I dont want to ruin the rest of my life because of some biatch trying to make an extra buck. ugghh... sorry just had to vent there

Have had cops in my club dozens of times; if anyone's read my other psots, you know why. Well, after all the b.s. died down, and we were trying to be a clean club, had these two guys come in, and, it was soooo funny; they couldn't get their story straight about which one was supposed to be from around here and which one was visiting from out of town! Normally, tho, I can't really tell when they're vice most of the time. Not that I do anything wrong or nothin, but, for me, it's just that I've heard all the horror stories of them being mean just cuz we're dancers; gives me a sick feeling in my stomach.

When the cops come in to our club they head to the kitchen and are handed an envolope.
