I'm a dancer and have dated another male dancer Before I was actually a dancer. Does that make any senseWell he was horrible to me,conceited, always tried running my ego down, and had horrible tendancies of roid' rage..

Gosh these replies are so interesting! Anyway I guess I'll weigh in on it. Yes ,I have dated strippers in the past. Some of them were bad, others simply fizzled out.
You know , it's interesting. Most people say it is a fantasy to date a stripper. I say it is dating a stripper that ends the fantasy. If I were still dating then it would have no effect upon the decision to date because of her status.
Did I feel proud about it? Courtship is a normal human function. We all have to go through it to find a compatible companion. There's no more pride in dating a stripper than there is anybody else.
I have...comes with the job I guess

I identify with SheDevil's response... I've dated a male dancer before, and I must say, that firstly, this guy had the personality of a plate, bored me to death, talking about himself, himself, himself, with a condenscending attitude. Now I'm not implying that all male dancers are like this, but in this case, it was dreadful. I'd much rather take a genuine shy guy type than someone like that any day!

I agree with Seraya. This should be in the Cust Convers section. I belive the poster meant men dating female dancers not the other way aroundOriginally Posted by seraya (london) link=board=1;threadid=5882;start=msg63838#msg63838 date=1074345775

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.
Call me hypocritical but I would never date a male dancer. There is just something that makes me worry about a guy who looks in the mirror more than I do. Big turnoff.
I have never dated a dancer, and if I were male I wouldn't even cosider it. I could see how it might be a fantasy, but also knowing that the girl you're with is over sitting on some guy's lap in just her panties, and rubbing all over herself and sometimes him to get him excited wouldn't go over to well with me. Too much emotion to deal with, too many possibilities of drama arising.

I have dated a male dancer, briefly. Actually he was more sex toy material than a bf, as he was severly lacking in brains and personality. I would do it again though, if I were out to have a good time with out feelings involved.
I could see myself dating a female dancer as a real relationship, but I'd never be serious about a male dancer. I would not trust a man in this profession.
