    Default Binghamton? Anyone?

It's kind of self-explanatory, I hear so many contradicting things! I've talked to two girls who've worked at two different clubs, who both liked it, then I read reviews - one was talking about how you could get lapdances and such for $2-3 and the other lots of drama! bah! So, uhm, anyone?

The money club in Binghamton is Madame Oar's. While I wouldn't tell you to believe everything you read on the strip club review customer comments sections, there is no doubting the fact that the Binghamton area has been hard hit financially (the two big corps are IBM and Corning, both of which were badly affected by the tech downturn of the past couple of years). Providing that you don't mind reasonably high contact, you should do pretty well in terms of earnings potential.

I visited Madame Oar's as a customer a couple of years ago and was not impressed. There are actually two separate clubs in a dingy little strip mall - one had dancers dancing in bikinis or something but if you wanted an LD they walked you outside to the other club which was supposedly nude but there were no customers and a few dancers were just sitting around talking to each other. I didn't stay long because there wasn't anything going on. Maybe I just hit a bad night. But I wouldn't go back. This is something I never firgure out - you go into a club that supposedly has dancers but no one is dancing because there are only one or two customers. Who invariably leave bacause no one is dancing. Does that make sense to anyone? This was one of those places.

Heh, I've only been to Tzers, the small club in the strip mall [so oddly appropriate] as I was 18 so I couldn't go into the one that served alcohol [this was a year ago]. We went on a Tuesday and were told the girls weren't dancing, not enough people, try Oar's. On the strip club review the manager said they didn't put girls on stage unless there were at least 3 paying customers at the stage.

Then we went eiter Friday or Saturday around 9pm, there was some business, enough people tipping to get girls to stay on stage. We had to leave about 10:45pm and it was really starting to get crowded, no seats left at the stage, and girls only appearing briefly before leading guys away for private dances.

But I've also heard they've completely "redone" everything since I've been there, so I don't know.
I found out the next amatuer night is, of course, when I have a lab.

I assume that you've figured out the "joke" involved in the club name. Imagine Benny Hill walking down the street with his wild buddies ... "oi, lookit them oars standing on the streetcorner!"
