I saw the topic about Tantric Yoga in "Ladies Only", and saw there was a lot of curiousity about it.
I was into Yoga a lot when I was in college, and had read up quite a bit about Tantric Yoga but never tried it, though it sounded fascinating, to say the least. I was particularly intrigued by the description of the acceptance rites, where the novice becomes a full member of the sect, by f**king all the members of the opposite sex without coming--attaining a "cosmic orgasm" instead.
A few years later, I read about something called "E.S.O.", short for Extended Sexual Orgasm, in a magazine. My girlfriend at the time and I decided to try it. It is basically the same thing as Tantric Yoga, without all of the spiritual stuff included. There is a whole lot to it, lots of techniques, positions, and exercises. No need to get into all that now, but suffice it to say--it works, for both men and women.
Basically it involves getting almost to the point of orgasm and backing off, getting closer as time goes on and repeating as much as possible. This is an oversimplification, but will do for this post. It is not necessary to use all of the techniques in the book. You wind up reaching what they call a "plateau" phase which can last an hour or more, with orgasmic contractions throughout (though this level takes a while to attain). The one big difference from Tantric Yoga, other than the spiritual aspect, is that the guy can finally come, after having as many orgasmic contractions as he desires or can handle. The women get to do about the same thing in both.
It is not something you can do with a one night stand; it is really for couples in love and willing to devote some serious effort to it. Some people will find it much easier than others.
The book I have is called "E.S.O.", by Alan Brauer, M.D., and his wife Donna. I got mine in a second hand bookstore, but I have seen it new in Barnes and Nobles, and I believe it is still published by Warner Books.
