    Default Vegetarian or not?

Hi, I was just curious to who is a vegetarian and who isnt. I am a vegetarian, and I find I often get lightheaded when Im dancing. I take iron pills and they help a bit.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat if I don't know where it came from. I grew up eating meat that my family or freinds had killed and/or raised (we would sometimes trade some moose meat for some of a neighbors pig, for example). The concept of eating meat from a store just creeps me out, and (the few times I've done it) makes me sick.

So, I'm a picky meat eater, I guess.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I find myself naturally eating way less meat after "cleaning up" my diet and focusing on eating for health. Especially red meat. I eat that the least, even though I love steak.

As far as you being lightheaded, maybe you should evaluate your diet and figure out which nutrients you might be lacking. I have a friend who's vegetarian, but she eats like shit! Barely any fruits, veggies, or nuts. (she has a horrible complexion)

Not total vegetarian. I eat small amounts of turkey. My main diet has been vegetables and fruits for years. LOVE lentils! fish has been brought into my diet as well. Chicken i have stopped.

I have not had pork, ham or beef in many many years. Don't like it. Thats a plus for me, as i try to cut all animal products out of my diet.

I also am trying to quit my leather products for "fake leather."
But then again i am a big part of PETA.

I admire those of you who are vegetarians, but I could never have the willpower to do it myself. I love steak and burgers too much.

I am a vegetarian too. If you are feeling faint or light headed. Make sure you are getting enough nutrients and calories in your diet. Like someone said be sure you are eating right. Oh and water, drink lots of water and take b-vitamins or protein drinks.

Love that Lisa Simpson quote Sapphire.
I used to be a total vegan...NO animal products whatsoever...then I realized that I didnt have enough willpower to continue that lifestyle. It really is a lot of work...and since I like to do things in an 'all or nothing' sort of way, I decided to quit being vegan, and go back to being an omnivore. I think that I'm better off this way

I think to eat meat or not to eat meat is a personal choice.

No, Vegans don't eat dairy products or eggs. Nothing animal related.
Some Vegans also don't wear animal products like leather and fur.

Heh, I answered the survey, here's an actual response, I'm vegan, have been for two years or so. Was vegetarian before that for 6 months, omni prior.

I'm a food lover too, heehee. one of my male friends will bring me vegetables and such to cook, then take half home. It's great.

I love animals, but I love meat more and for millions of years they hunted us down for dinner. I'm tired of running! This is our time for revenge, which is a dish best served medium well with a side of mashed 'taters.

I do have respect for those that go vegetarian. We will all have to someday, there just isn't enough space on Earth to support 6-10 billion people if they're eating "American diets" where 40% of our calories come from meat. *sigh* Can we hurry up and colonize the moon so we can turn it into grazing land?
