Default Where do u look when u want to find a club to dance in?

Hey! You guys have provided me with excellent information in the last few weeks. I appreciate it!

Now I need help again. Where do I look to find strippers willing to come to my club?

I have thought of the following options:
    1) place an ad under help wanted on this forum.
    2) run an ad in the area club magazines such as nightshift.
    3) run ads in the help wanted sections of major city newspapers. such as kansas city, omaha, columbia, wichita etc.
    4) place ads in local college papers.

Any other suggestions that I am missing?

Thanks in advance for ur suggestions.

    John

Hi. Your major calls i think come from the newspapers. I see many adds for all the clubs around here, taking dancers or not, the adds keep running.

Also the local (most listened to) radio station! I hear that alot too!

    Good luck.

I go on stripclublist.com. Then I call the clubs that interest me and ask them if they suck. If they say NO and get pissy with me then they suck. If they laugh and are cool then it's on to stage two.

Things that will cause me to INSTANTLY cross a club off my list:

Failure to answer the phone during business hours.... call gets answered by machine or not at all.

    Bitchy girl answers phone.

Manager has no sense of humor and seems like a dick.

Manager says he will call back and doesn't.

Other stuff that makes me frown:

Manager is fucking or married to a dancer.

DJ is fucking or married to a dancer.

Minimum shift requirements. I choose when I work. Put newbie girls on mondays and day shifts..not me

High house fees, stage fees and fines. I am not a customer. I do not want to be a direct source of income for the club. That's what liquor sales, cover charges, drug dealing, money laundering, prostitution and being a mob front are for.

I'm not saying YOU are a mob front but plenty strip clubs are. If you are making your money off of ME and not off your other revenue sources then I'm going to move on. Nothing worse than a broke strip club!

wow, vanilla, you really call them like you see them! Actually, I see them exactly the same way, but I live a little too close to an area dominated by clubs owned by "Uncle Guido" for comfort in voicing public opinion.

The regional club magazines are relatively cheap to advertise in, they reach directly the girls (dancers) and guys (customers) your're interested in, so I'd say to definitely give that a whirl. Advertising in college papers may attract a few girls who are considering becoming dancers, but they're not going to attract experienced dancers (plus they're liable to attract a bunch of broke college guys as club customers which is generally not good for a club's bottom line). Advertising in high profile local media such as radio and TV stations has a way of attracting attention which you may not want, i.e. conservative homeowners near your club, the mayor, the police chief, every priest/minister in the area. Advertising in large metropolitan papers is expensive and becomes a function of what your club has to offer versus what the clubs in the large metropolitan areas have to offer. Typically, you'll mostly attract dancers who don't "measure up" to earn decent money in the metropolitan clubs who therefore might be willing to travel some distance to work at your club.

Also, if you REALLY want to attract top notch travelling dancers, save your advertising money and put it to a better use. All you need to do is post an ad here at stripperweb which advertises the fact that you're willing to pay dancers $100 a night in "shift pay" on top of their normal earnings plus provide free accomodations while they're working at your club.

Just like a new plumbing installation, sometimes you have to "prime the pump" to get things flowing the way you want them! In this case we're talking cash flow. Priming the pump to attract top notch travelling dancers can quickly build your club's reputation for offering "quality entertainment". This in turn attracts more and better customers (with higher average spending habits). Once the customer cash flow is established, dancers will start earning decent money from your customers. Other dancers will become aware by word of mouth that your club now represents good earnings potential, and "quality" local and travelling dancers will gradually start approaching you. At this point you can stop "priming the pump" and let the normal cash flow suffice.

A very common mistake made by new club owners is that they invest heavily in the club facility but they fail to invest in the product they are offering i.e. top shelf dancers. As a result, the club's stage winds up filled with "bow-wows" who can't get hired in other clubs with proven decent earnings potential, and the beautiful new club facility winds up being patronized (read trashed) by low class cheap-ass customers who are content with "bow-wow" entertainment.

very true. and unforturanly a lot (not all) of the "bow-wow's" also do things to supplement thier income that could also get your club shut down.
