most of us have already seen this site, but thanks for your concern....I think there should be a warning on some of these posts because some people are sensitive to seeing images like these.

Yes, we all know the horrors of implants.

Aside from all that, ask yourself if you really want them. It's not just the possible medical complications, but a host of other issues. Why do you really want them? You are not a dancer, so it's not for that. Do you think that they will change anything? The only reason I'd ever consider doing it is for the job.

xxxeyezxxx hon, just use the "modify" button you see in your post.

The cautionary tales that many of these pics illustrate is to take care when taking this step but also if you get the work done to get a second opinion immediately if you feel your doc is being blaséabout symptoms that arise . Too many trips to the doc are better than not enough and having a nasty infection set in or tissue death. This is actually a worst case scenario worth reading http://www.breastimplants4you.com/journals/jorie.htm - note that there are no icky pictures, just a woman's story.

There are many post surgical horror stories and not just from BAs. Drs are not all-knowing magicians and it is *your* responsibility to be informed about your health and bring concerns to your Dr. Be assertive even if you are just dealing with complications from a root canal!

Look. I'm a guy, I know, so I dunno if it's my place to tell you anything about your bodies (in fact, i don't think it is) but it's important so I'll go out on a limb just this once...

To add to what Veronika said,

Don't skimp on a Doctor either. This is one area where you don't want to be shopping around for the best deal. Check out the best Doctors, and don't worry about how much they charge. Just save the cash up.

Before choosing a doctor, make sure and check him/her out. There are various resources available for doing this, and you don't want to find out too late that your Doctor has six malpractice suits pending.

Even with all this, it's still not 100% sure nothing will go wrong. Nothing in life is certain, and Doctors are not perfect. They are not built in some factory and preprogrammed to do things perfectly every time. They are human and humans can and do fuck up.

That said, the horror stories are quite a bit less common than silliconholocaust.com would have you believe. Actually, I wonder how the hell someone's breats implant can force it's way out without the woman going to the doctor before it gets that bad! Plus, those are usually worst case scenarios. I know several women who have had implants done with no problems at all.

Lastly, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Christ, if you look fine count your blessings! Plenty of Ogres would give sell their souls to look just 'okay.' Only get a boobjob if it's really important to you (same with any other type of plastic surgery).

P.S. Kudos to Veronika for the comment about the root canal, as well. She's right about that. Any medical procedure can, and sometimes does, go wrong and Doctors are often reluctant to admit their mistakes (which is an even worse mistake than any they could have made before that).

I'll leave the thread back to the ladies, now.

I'm a 36C-due to losing weight, my boobs aren't as perky as I'd like them to be, so I'm saving up for a boob job. I was thinking about getting just a lift, but I've heard if you're a dancer, it's generally not a good idea to just get a lift because they leave horrible scars which take forever to fade. If I get big enough implants, it will tighten up the extra skin that I have and give my boobs a lift. I'm thinking about going to a DD cup.

I'm all natural and proud of it!

I'm just upset that I came here to find out about "breats" and instead get treated to a horror show.

I voted real because my implants were real expensive.

If you're not going to modify and remove the pics would you please at least modify the title of the thread to say *WARNING GROSS PHOTOS* or something like that. I agree with jennymodel that most of us are familiar with silliconeholocaust.com and yes good grief the link would have sufficed.

i dont have implants but i think the key is to find a good doctor not just any cheap ole guy claiming he is a doctor ....that site is of the worst cases ...thats why it pays to tell the truth on the medical forms a good doctor will have you do some blood work/tests before he does any surgery on you.. they also have forms that you fill out stating the risks and/or what you are alergic to and what disease /disorders you might have.. its also for you to take the best care possible of yourself after the surgery

i'm naturally blessed . . . . i'm a natural 34dd with almost no saggage. most people actually think i have implants. if i didn't have what i do, though, or if my boobs ever start to not look so good, i wouldn't hesitate to get implants provided that i found a good doctor.

I am natrually cursed. I have 34DD. eyez, want mine? I am getting them reduced. they are only good for work. otherwise they just cause me pain and misery. I cant find bras that fit, or regular clothes. bras cause extreame pain anwhere they touch after less then an hour of wear. bras also dig in under my ribs and confine my movement. the muscle in my shoulders near my neck is never relaxed. I don't like the way people see me because of them, people assume that because I have large breasts I must be promiscus. They get in the way too. once a friend of mine had to hold one out of the way so i could take a shot in pool. I used to run all the time, now I feel hobble because I can't. it will be nice to someday go into a store and buy a bra. or to get clothes that don't make me look fat because they are 2 sizes too big. oh well... someday...

I know that it's been said already, but those pics did not need to be posted like that. Usually I am very tough in the stomach. However, I'm pregnant, sick, and extra sensitive. Those pictures literally made me ill just now. Anyway, my answer to the poll was "thinking about it". Even though I know for sure that I will get them done and soon. I've gained and lost weight so many times that my boobs sage terribly considering my age. I'm sure I'll have the surgery done before I turn 22.

Yes I did my research-trust me! I have fake boobs . No one can even tell. They were a 36 C before and I got them to a 36DDD. Ya it sounds big but it's not grotesk or anything. They look perfect and natural. I love them to death. They looked so good that it encouraged my hot momma to get them done as well by my surgeon. Proud of these bad boys

I'm on my fifth set of ever larger breast implants. Does that entitle me to vote 5 times ?

After my last set of 3,800cc implants, I'm now a JJJ cup.
