Default Dancers: what is that soft body make-up

    Hi,
I have started getting into lap dances recently and every dancer's skin has a velvety texture to it. It covers your entire body. What is it? And besides offering a nice feel is there a medical reason you like to use it?

This may be the first of many questions

Medical reason? he he-- more like monitary and shaving! Motivation is lubrication of dry skin after showering and shaving!!! do not derive a complex application of motive purely by result! --glad you enjoy but is purely functional for most...

LOL Chandler. I use body make up to have even tone skin. I use it mostly on my legs , and bikini line.

i owe soft complexion to slathering on heaps of body lotion.

I posted the original question. Everyone says it is lotion, but it is dry and almost velvet-like when I am lucky enough to caress a dancer's leg, back, etc. It is not moist and slippery in the least. I thought it might be that spray-on tan that I saw advertised in LA.

I could be dry oil spray...then again most girls don't use that and as Winter and Malibu posted, entertainers must shave VERY often, which in turn causes dry skin, you can walk into any dressing room at any time and their is always a girl "slathering on heaps" body lotion. Generally "we" girls apply lotion (and some of us: light body scents) as often as we refresh our lipstick. I believe that is probably why our skin feels more "velvety".

I definately use a lot of lotion. Since I have to shave every day and am exposed to the black lights and all that cigarette smoke I am constantly putting it on.

Shaving is great exfoliation...although it can dry out skin it also keeps it from getting dull and rough. Lotion is a must, especially in dry climates, for after shaving.

What I'm saying is...it's a combination of shaving, the secondary effect of shaving that is exfoliation, and the lotion put on after shaving.

I think it is just a combination of shaving, exfoliation and body lotion. The only body "make-ups" I wear are a dilute version of the Nivea shimmer lotion and SexSymbol Aero tan on my shoulders and decolleté to even my tan out and give my skin a soft glow.

I really think because of the demands of our job, we just end up taking really good care of our skin.

Think I could get a job helping out back there? I am really good with heaps of lotion.

ps: I think Veronika answered my question: "I wear are a dilute version of the Nivea shimmer lotion and SexSymbol Aero tan" It is so soft and non-greasy. I just want to softly run my fingers against your skin.

I don't know if you guys have it stateside, but in UK we have Impulse Moisturising Body Sprays. My family sent it to me by accident on request of body lotion and now I'm addicted! I think it'd be great to use while working the floor to keep my skin soft during the course of the night and they come in nice, light scents. So it shouldn't get on customers with any luck.
