Default So what do you pay in fees?

Not counting fines, what are your tip-outs/house fees?
    I'm just wondering what's average.
My club is technically two, one is topless and has a bar, the other nude w/ VIP - girls sometimes go back and forth from either club. If you work at the topless one tipout is $15. If you work at the nude it's $20. If, say, you work in the topless and get someone to the VIP, you pay both. If you work only at the nude and no one goes up for VIPs, you pay out of your stage tips.

Either place you're supposed to tip DJs at least $1 per set [minimum of 5 sets unless you're practically in the VIP lounge all night], though mine said since last night was a bad night he wasn't taking tips. For such, if you make a lot in one night you should tip over the required amount.

We get robbed. Washington is no alcohol in strip clubs and the owners make up for it through us. We pay $65 plus $5 for every lap dance. There is no mandatory tip-out, but then again, its sometimes hard for alot of girls to even make their rent.

The northeast seems to work in two different systems where "extorting" money from dancers is concerned. Typically, upscale topless clubs will charge anywhere from $75 to $200 per shift in house fee=stage fee=rent, plus they keep around 25% of the money customers spend on the champagne room, but dancers are allowed to keep 100% of any other moneys they receive.

Nude clubs and not so upscale topless clubs charge a much lower house fee (some none at all), however they make up the difference by keeping typically 50% of the money customers spend on private dances plus taking about 25% of any champagne room money. These numbers vary quite a bit from club to club, but it's pretty safe to assume that if a club is busy and popular (i.e. has a good earnings potential and all area dancers know it) that the stage fees and percentages will be towards the high end of the range.

Besides money to the house, dancers are also expected to cover minimum mandatory tipouts to the DJ, bouncers etc.

One particular club in Manhattan winds up charging dancers a total pretty close to $300 for popular night shifts, between the house fee and the mandatory tipouts. It's entirely possible to leave the club at the end of the night with less money than you walked in with, if you don't connect well with the club's customers.

I work in a small topless club. They keep $5 out of every $20 lap dance and we have to tip out $10 to the bartender/$5 to waitress on weekdays (sun-thurs) and $20 to the bartender/$10 to waitress on weekends (fri/sat)

In my club the stage fee goes by arrival time. If you're on the floor when the club opens, its $10. 7-8, $20. 8-10 $30. After 10, $40. If you want to leave early (before you have completed a six hr shift) you pay a $50 fee. Then the club takes $5 of every $30 couch dance, and around 30% of all VIP money...so if you do a $150 vip, they take $50, for a $300 vip, they take $125, etc. The higher price of the vip, the more they take- for the $1000 vip they take $500 (but i dont think one has ever been sold! lol) and 10% of funny money.

Then you have to tip the DJ 10%, all other tipout are optional.

I work in Houston and evidently most clubs there are about the same.

The time I go in I usually pay around $50 for house fee which includes staying off stage which is normally $20. Some days may be more if I go in really late. If I make reallly good money that night off a credit card tab, I tip out around 10-20% to the managers.

Even if most of my income is cash, I still tip out my managers (the ones who are cool and supportive) every once in a while I kick them down when they are least expecting it.

At my club house fees go by the time you arrive. Get there early and you pay $25 in house fees. As the night gets later you can pay up to $60. They take $1 out of every 20 you get in funny money. Dances are $20 and we keep all of it.
Tips are $5 min to each manager, up to 3 or 4 managers. Min $5 tip to DJ.

A typical night for me, I arrive 8-10pm pay $35-45 house fees at the top of my shift, and then $35 in tip outs at the end ot the night. A total of about 70-80 bucks. On a decent night that is fine, on a crappy monday it's a huge bite in the ass.
