I've noticed that dancers usually carry around big sized suitcases or tote bags when they leave their clubs. I wonder whyDo you girls actually take a lot of stuff to your clubs or just the essentials (clothes, makeup, etc.)?

I use a backpack with a few different compartments. I take a small makeup bag, a purse or two, a few outfits, and maybe some cream, etc. I normally leave all my shoes at work.
duffle bag for me
Suitcase with wheels and a pully..... the girls at our club are required to change after each set... so I bring it all.... and I have a ton of stuff and I never know what I am going to feel like wearing...

My club has permanent lockers for the regular girls, so I always have have about 10 outfits on hangers, and a few pairs of shoes in there. Plus all the essentials, garters, thongs of every color, tampons, scissors, etc. I still use a tote bag everyday to carry in/out the outfits that need to be cleaned, and my good make-up I don't want to leave in the locker.

I use a suitcase w/ rollers. I put everything in it. It's not too big because I can carry it on a plane, (as long as it isn't one of those toy sized commuter planes. I hate those, they scare me :o).
I tend to carry a lot of bottled water and food w/ me. I get impatient waiting for the bar staff to get my water.
I do tip them though

I wish I could just leave my things in my locker, but the women I work with smoke like chimneys and even leaving outfits in my locker makes them stinky after one night. So I've gotta haul my backpack in and out of the club every night. I would use a rolling suitcase but it might get stolen or have crap poured into it. It's a little more difficult to break into the locker.

I do not miss the days of carrying everything with me! Thankfully, we have 7 ft lockers that we are allowed to use until we quit.

I use a suitcase with wheels. I usually wear the same outfit all night, but I always bring along extra outfits and an extra pair of shoes in case I feel like changing my outfit, or in case someone spills beer on my outfit, my shoe strap breaks, etc. I also carry my makeup, curling iron, deodorant, body spray, etc. in my suitcase so that I don't need to bring a duffel bag along as well.![]()

If I work in a club where they have lockers available to the girls, then I would just carry a small duffel bag or backpack with the things I need and leave most of my outfits and shoes in the locker. But when I've worked at clubs where there were no lockers for the girls or there was but they were all taken then I would carry a travel suitcase with wheels and just put a lock on that and keep everything in there. It sucks to drag one of those things around everyday, but if they don't give you anywhere to put your stuff, then you've gotta keep it somewhere.
I carry a mid-sized knock-off Burberry bag because I travel light. All my costumes can fit in two big ziplocks. I don't do curling irons, rollers, hair spray or stuff like that. I only have two pair of shoes, a make-up bag and few essentials like coochie wipes and Germ-X. I never leave anything in the dressing room since I'm a traveling dancer.
You get what you put up with
I have my bonefide Hello Kitty travel suitcase.
I prefer to take my clothes with me to and from work. Most of the girls smoke...and I wash everything the next day. It's easier with the suitcase to haul my clothes and my makeup and purse. Since I am notorious for forgetting stuff, it's easier to haul everything in one instead of having several bags.

I selected a combination between 1&4..We have lockers at my club but, I really don't like leaving my stuff in tehm for too long. I carry a duffle bag or a rolling suitcase, my makeup case and water.

I have a nice large duffle bag, and I carry everything there. A lot of girls leave costumes and such there, apparently we're a really low problem club...

We have lockers too, so I basically leave the outfits I use the most there and only bring my purse to work. But, when I need to change out outfits, I just bring in a small bag to take that stuff out in.
Age is only important when it comes to wine and whiskey!

Most of the girls at my club trust eachother so I usually only take my stuff home once a week to wash my outfits. I have a huge makeup case a duffle bag and a back pack.
army backpack all the way. i think it still has the puke stains on it! guess i never left my squatter days behind me...

When I used to dance I used a adidas duffle bag. But, when I went out of town I used a suitcase.

I use a backpack for the home club and a small suitcase with a lock for travelling. Some big city clubs have so many girls there aren't enough lockers so as a traveller it's wise to bring the small suitcase (the rolling carryon kind) with a lock so I can lock everything up in that while working. At the home club I have a locker so I just carry what I need in the backpack.
Carlos, to answer about the PR dancers, most of the local girls I worked with tended to carry lots of clothes in their suitcases (often all the outfits they owned) so they could change several times a night. Gringas tend to use only 1-2 outfits a night so we don't need such large bags.
a big von dutch bag
the slutty one
If you mean stuff like money when you are dancing, a nice garter money pouch would be ideal!

If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
I won't ever take a big dance bag into work - what's the point? Would you ever change into your 8 different mini-skirts in one night? Or will you wear all different shades of eyeshadow you own? Hell no! It just might make another dancer think ''well, if she's got THAT much stuff, I'm sure she won't miss this. Oh, and this. And maybe this'' and before you know it, your stuff's getting nicked. Seen it happen a few times and it ain't worth it.
I used to have a locker in an old club I was in and just kept the essentials in it because there was a short spell where people were 'fiddling' with other dancers' lockers. I obviously am not speaking for all clubs, but a bad apple always ruins the bunch and wisens you up to looking after your belongings.
The only time I normally ever see suitcases being trolleyed into work are when there are travelling dancers or diva prima donnas. Everyone other sensible person just takes in a small, discreet bag/rucksack, sometimes with a lock. And besides, in a club where I've seen stuff get nicked, it's rarely from the small, ugly looking bags, probably because they don't look like they contain anything of worth.
