I just returned from London yesterday and visited Stringfellow's over the weekend: I was totally unimpressed with the club ,it's dancers and clientele -- There didn't seem to be many dances going on, and it altogether did not seem lucrative. The dancers ranged 5-9, with the majority in the 7-8 range, IMO.However, the earnings will be in British pounds, which exchange at a 2 :1 rate vs. the US dollar at the moment, thus true earnings for a US dancer will be twice her take-home.

I worked at Spearmint Rhino back in Sept. of 2002. That was before my boob job, but I still managed to pay for my trip (hotel and flight) plus extra, which was my primary objective. I worked about 4 shifts a week, 2 day and 2 night.

House fees were 80 pounds a night, 15 for day.

I liked working there, the staff and other dancers were nice.

My opinion is, work there if you want to go to London and pay for your vacation, but don't expect a huge windfall.

I've also heard from other girls that have told me the money is way down.

I love London though, so you can PM me to let me know when you are going.

Seraya - no problem! Thanks for the 'gaslight london' thread info. I am going to be visiting Paris for fun in May - may poke around the clubs a little bit to get a feel for them. I wouldn't be able to make a commitment to go back and work until this summer or even better September, but living and working in Paris??? How amazing would that be?!

OK - I loooove my job!!
