If you like pop Toxic by Britney is a great song. Very sexual. What type type of music do you like. And what type of music do the club mostly play.

I love pop & club music. They club will really let me play whatever I want. It is a big mix there (music anywhere from 80's to now).

Evanescence songs get me sooo hot... they just exude sensuality for me anyway...

I used to be all into dancing to dance music... now I almost can't at work... it's just a different atmosphere for me compared to a typical "college dance club". My moves are different my emotions and feeling the music is different. I tend towards the alternative rock type stuff now. and then I enjoy "Dance" music at the regular clubs. You will find your own style in time sweety... just keep moving and be willing to try new styles... you may surprise yourself and fall in love with dancing to a type of music you never imagined.

Thanks!! you sound experienced, have you been dancing for a while? If its ok... do you have any good tips since I have just started and really have no clue about a lot of things. Also I had posted a question on stage names... if you have any ideas I would really appreciate suggestions. Thanks!!

    Shell,

The new kid Rock cd has a great remake of feel like making love...all the guys will know it, maybe even sing along. It has a good tempo...Toxic is a great one too! There are alot of great main stream R&B songs out now...check Baby Bash Suga Suga...Mary J oooh...Pink oh my god...etc. I'd pick something that doesn't require you to move too fast so you can get comfortable with your surroundings. Or something slow, sexual, maybe even different so you can stand out. Like Blues. I have an arsenal of sexy shit, just let me know. I'm a music whore. (sorry)

Does your club have a DJ? If so just let him know what type of music you like, maybe a few specific songs and see what happens. Almost all the DJ's I've worked with do this and it works pretty good. While it's great to dance to music you like learn to dance to all types of music in case a customer requests something while you're on stage.
