Let's see...there's a lot and they are in no particular order:

1. Babysitter
2. Nanny
3. Housecleaner
4. Cashier at Sam's Club
5. Waitress (boy do I have some good stories about serving food...LOL)
6. Bartender
7. Cocktail Waitress
8. Shift Manager at Video store
9. Eviction Processor at Foreclosure Attorney office
10. Customer Service rep
11. Personal assistant to CEO, CFO, VP, NMD, NPD (last place worked)
12. Head Student Fellow of campus fund-raising committee

I think that about covers it...oh, and one more...

I have had a bunch of crappy little side jobs. My first job ever was at 16 in Taco Bell. My friend and I were so excited when we got hired!
Then I moved and got a waitressing job at Chevy's (Not the same chain...this was a 50's themed diner) and worked at Publix, the grocery store (same time period)
Then I came back to NJ and worked in Best Buy (they paid OK 10 an hour, but that was starting, so it was cool) Then Staples (LOL)
In the summers I worked as a recreation assistant. Mon-Fri we would take the kids enrolled in the program to the pool, park, do arts and crafts, once in a while we went to the beach... I loved it. Crap pay but worth it.

Years ago I was a volunteer at a hospital on sundays (4 hours). It started off as being required by my catholic school to graduate. (Had to do some form of Volunteer work) I chose to work with Cancer patients. The saddest thing, ever, but also so rewarding. As Rhia mentioned, the smiles on their faces were worth it... Its very sad though.

Then I started to work at Hooters, and did great. I actually wish I wouldnt have quit on bad terms because then I could work there on the side just for extra money. I also worked in a doctors office during this time.
Then I started dancing... hehehe

I used to call it PUBICS, too and they had a Winn Dixie, which we used to say WINN DICK ME. (Damn we were naughty minded girls)

I was a liscenced day care provider.... a lingerie model, a bartender, a print model in chicago...... and I worked at kentucky fried chicken (god I hated that job). I also worked as a caregiver for the mentally disabled. Dancing and the lingerie modeling were definately the best paying but also the least satisfying. Bartending was fun for a while but that got old too. My favorite job was prolly taking care of the mentally disabled. They were so sweet and I felt like I was making a difference in their lives.

I have been a waitress twice. I hated both gigs and wanted to puke on BOTH managers' heads when I quit.

I have taken care of an 87 year old Alzheimer's patient. The guy was an alcoholic for eighty years and went psycho sometimes. I learned SO much about responsibility and codependence.

When I was 17 and 18 I wrote for two free Press magazines. I got paid in backstage passes and concert tickets. That was heavenly

I was a sandwich maker at place called NotsuoH (<<<read backwards). That place was one of a kind. There was a speakeasy upstairs where all kinds of crazy shit was happening. I lived there for a summer with no AC with one of the hottest guys i had seen up to that point. The pay was rawther shitty.

That's my story and i'm stickin' to it.

Gold Coast is a big tourism and hospitality city/town. It is the main industry here with everything else coming from it as such... so all my prior jobs revolved around that theme...

Kitchenhand for Eagle Boys Dial A Pizza -- Loved their pizzas ever since I had worked for them (grade 11).

From there it was a string of cafe attendant jobs. A bistro attendant. I never got the hang of a la carte as I was too intimidated by the whole thing whereas now I could TOTALLY do it. Lacked the confidence.

I did baby sitting jobs on and off.

Put an ad in the paper about pet sitting - got one job. LOVED IT! So want to be able to go back to doing it or either buy/start a business in regards to it.

Whilst I never actually worked as a child care assistant.. I did a one year course (Cert. III in Child Care and Education) which involved working 6 months at two centres. This is where I learnt that I love OTHER PEOPLES' children and will just stick to the 'furry' kind for me. I'll make a great Aunty

Did an office admin. course (its where I learnt how to touch type and still can with decent speed and accuracy.. if I'm not tired) and so did my "work experience" in a solicitors office. That was interesting however I started in that a little too late to be able to go anywhere with it (I missed out on all the traineeships due to having the Cert. III not a Cert. II).

I have had decent stretches of unemployment in that time and hence done a few "Work for the Dole" programs. Out of all the ones I did.. there was only one I enjoyed.. the last one I did before becoming a legit dancer (as I was doing the naughty by under-declaring my earnings so I could still collect the dole for AGES.... before I woke up and realised I would be way better of legit)... I did some work in a local Wildlife rehabilition non-profit's office.

The great thing was is the office was a room that one of the main carers had donated so there were plenty of wildlife all over the place (joeys, wallabies, kangaroos, bats, etc). I enjoyed it so much that I put my details down to eventually become a carer and just do rescues for the time being (go to places and rescue wildlife from situations where they could be potentially killed)... I did a few and I really enjoyed doing them except being a dancer intruded on that.

The time off that I had.. I just wanted to SLEEP. Plus I would find that I just didn't have time. Had to let it go whilst it didn't PAY in $$.. it is definately something I also want to go back to do when I am near 40 possibly.

Other odd jobs I have done in the past:

Website designer for a site at the time (don't know if the URL still works) called www.australianet.com.au
I quit it because the company was VERY new and it was alot of work with not alot of pay... whilst I enjoyed it .. overall wasn't worth it in the end.

Main website designer for The Realm of White Magic (www.whitemagic.com.au). Whilst I have taken more of a back seat with that.. I am still "in charge" of the Message Board, Wcraft magazine section and a couple other parts as well. When I get more time.. I'm going to re-design some of it. (PS.. yes.. I am SunsetSeashell)

Oh yeah... tried my hand at Network Marketing via Herbalife. I'm not a distributor and more of a customer who gets discounts these days. I use a couple of their products. Love the "Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner" as it has helped me steer clear of split ends and kept my hair in such good condition.

The thing with Network Marketing is that you need to evaluate them all and find the one with the best sales training program. That's one of the original reasons I joined.. I wanted to learn how to sell. In the end, I realised that the only way I would benefit from it was to do it full time not around my dancing. Since I enjoyed dancing and wanted to concentrate more on that at present... I just became a customer.

Hmm.. don't think I missed anything.

I've been busy however go thru what I posted and see which ones actually paid.. not many.

Dancing has so far been the only paying "job" that I have benefited from in alot of ways hence enjoyed overall (no matter how much I complain sometimes).

Starting at the earliest....
Babysitting, lawnmowing, newspaper carrier, car hop at Sonic, cashier at a steakhouse, cashier/waitress/cook at a small family restaurant, secretary, bookkeeper, country club waitress, pizza waitress (last 4 were two at a time, office full time and waitress part time), a brief stint at a factory part time while working as a tax preparer during day before becoming their office supervisor, then auction clerk/bookkeeper for an antique shop.

I started my first jobs at 12 with the babysitting and lawnmowing, then the paper route at 13 along with babysitting, then Sonic at 14 and the steakhouse at 15-16. At 16-17 I was working 35-40 hours per week at the restaurant to pay the bills along with keeping up with honor classes in high school. Started office jobs at 18 after graduation. Worked two jobs (usually like 60-65 hours/week) just to make ends meet until I discovered dancing at 22. I've done some office jobs here and there for the paper trail while dancing and going to college, but dancing has been my main source of income since I started. Since college I have just been dancing. Heee, sometimes I have to thank my lucky stars for horny men! LOL

Hi guys! I'm interviewing for a second job at a record store. A really cool one too, I have loved going there for years and it's the best location-place is called Soundwaves. I am getting it to strike a balance I guess. If I get hired I hope Houston people will drop by and say hi!

My very first job was at Arby's at the local mall when I was 16. I sucked ass and was let go within 2 months after I majorly screwed up a rush lunch hour order. whatever.

I also worked in the library at my high school. It was some kind of work experience program and THE FUNNIEST THING EVER was when I went to a kegger and was chillin' drinkin' and smokin' and this guy came up to me and said real loud, "Hey! You're that quiet librarian chick!" hahaha 15 years ago and I can still hear it clear as day.

Then I worked retail at the Navy Exchange. Good God. 50% off red tag? Get the fuck out of the way because you don't even need to unpack the boxes the military wives swarm around you grabbing what they want out of the box.

After that daddy made me secretary at his business. hehe that was a fun job.

Then I became a human resources specialist. So think twice about that hottie next time you apply for a job!

I started stripping while working in HR and the rest is history!

Starting bagging groceries at 12.
Babysitting 12-14.
Iceskating rink 14-16.

When I was almost 17 I worked as a cashier at KFC for 2 days, I quit when they told me to sweep the floor.

Worked in a mailroom when I was 17

Got promoted to mailroom manager a month after turning 18 (long story). This was my favortite job cause I was the only boss onsite and I got paid good and didn't have to do shit. I used to stay on the internet, or me and my buddy from upstairs would leave for hours and go shopping or to central park.
Title insurance companies from 18-19.

19-20 started dancing and working as a call center rep for Citibank, I hated it, listening to people bitch and moan about their bills and interest rates all day and asking me stupid questions.

Now I dance and work part time for another insurance company until I start college next September.

Baby sitting-All My Life
Gap Kids and Baby-Two years
Nordstrom cashier/phone operator-Two years
Nanny-3 months
Tutor-2 years
Waitress at strip club-1 year
Years Dancing-1 year

All Corporate Retail Stores are fucked up places to work unless you're a supervisor/manager/meet your daily goals with commission. Gap gave you phat discounts, but you always had to be in CURRENT GAP ATTIRE so a lot of your money went to your work wardrobe. They didn't pay by commission at the time. Nordstrom hooks u up as far as benefits, IRA, small discount, whateva-but I wouldn't work there again-just my personal preference. I luv kids so I loved Nannying and being a tutor at an elementary school. Kids are so much fun, it's too bad teachers in public schools don't get paid more or I would really try to pursue that as a career.
