    Default Facial laser treatments

Just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with photofacials? Or any other laser treatment on the face... I have some redness left from teenage acne and was contemplating having some photofacials to get rid of it.
Any info you can offer would be great!

Krys, try one of these first, I have one and it removed most of the acne scarring I had from my younger days of bad diet.

I have had a photofacial series done..The procedure feels like you are being popped by a rubberband. They rubbed a numbing creme on me before hand but the procedure can be still be painful. I was in alot of pain at the end if the day. You have to buy a numbing creme to take hoem with you and a skin lightener. You might notice brown patches on you skin the next day, this is because the photofacial brings the damaged or discolored skin to the surface. After a few days your skin will begin to heel and look very healthy. Its important to wear big hats and keep a strong sunscreen on your face or else your skin will burn or brown. If you get a series, be sure to schedule your appointments about 3 weeks apart.
I used to take a pain pill prior to each procedure.

Wow! They didn't tell me it was going to be that bad! They want me to have 2 treatments in the first week.... I can't really afford the time off work either while my skin heals... How bad is it between treatments? They told me to expect scabbing (gross). Overall would you recommend it Farrah?
I will check out your site now Ryan (nice to see you are back)

A friend of mine has them done and says they are painful. Also, my friend is a guy and it hurts much worse if you have just shaved or have large pores...be careful and good luck!

Are you sure that thing works Ryan? Would it not just be the same as heavy exfoliating?..... I would rather take the natural approach but I also want to do whats going to work...

okay if you want to take the natural approach try this
    www.stretchmarks.com
I used this to remove the old acne marks from my face..
the kit cost about $50 and it works from the inside out and accompanied with a natural peel that you apply yourself.

Now to answer ..the treatment was worth it..but I had it done to removed sun damage caused by laying in those damn tanning beds.
