Default Wanna work in Europe. Anyone can help me?

    Hi,
I'm a professional dancer but I've never worked outside Italy before. I was wondering if anyone can help me in chooseing a good club. Money are important but most of all I need to know if there are some clean and nice places out there. I can give information about work in Italy if anyone interested.
    Thanks.

I am going to work in Europe this summer hopefully.

Have you thought about possibly working in Portugal for the Euro 2004? I want to go there because I know it'll be very busy with lots of guys willing to spend £££.

Do you know anything about working in Portugal?

I personally wouldn't bother with the UK just now, but if you want info on other places, there is a dancer here called Jana who is from Germany; she may be able to give you a handle on the scene there.

    Best of luck!!

    Hi i'm like Malibu hehe

I plan on working in Europe for the last half of the year.... i also plan on working for the Euro 2004, i think you should consider it.

Also how about paris? I've heard good things and plan to check it out sometime this year too. I also want to work in switzerland.

Malibu is right about the UK... i have a friend who started her job in a club in london last night and it was DEAD! I seriously think the whole sex industry thing is dying out here.

    Seraya.

    Hey,
thanks for the advices. If you wanna work in Italy it's better to go in clubs that have american customers. The italians are all used with prostitution in strip clubs and nobody can speak a word in english. There are some nice clubs near the military bases in Italy, especially one in Sicily where you'll work only with Navy guys. It's clean and if you have a good attitude you can make really good money. Let me know something more about Euro 2004. Do you know some club to go to?... Maby we can go together... who knows?....

    Hey Laura,

I checked Italy on SCL. I have never seen so many SCs in one country alone, the list is virtually endless and quite worrying to a point.

I know all about the prostitution problem, mainly because there is an underground scandal that they import little girls from Africa (mainly from Nigeria) to work in illegal brothels. That makes me angry and also makes me not want to see the sex industry side of Italy at all. But Sicily sounds good with money to be made.

Still, we're still finding out info on Portugal. I posted a thread on this topic. Just do a little search in Club Chat under Portuguese Clubs and you'll find it.

Hey guys...... Australia is a GREAT place to work (and holiday) but because of the currency I am not sure if it would really be worth your while???? I have worked in most States in Aus and have found it really good (and foriegner friendly).. and I think they are pretty okay about girls working without visas (probably pay to double check before coming though).
What is the visa situation like in Europe? Is it possible to find work without a work visa?

For the benefit of Americans - Euro 2004 :

Personally speaking I would have thought Portugal would be a pretty good place to avoid during the month of June.
I'll be watching it home on telly like any other sane person would do.

We are talking about going there to make money, not for entertainment.

I may be making it up but are the Olympics on in Greece this year? I don't know anything about the clubs there but it could be a good bet for good $$$

Oh, and can anyone give me any advice on the Norwegian fella who keeps posting about working in Crete, I've been on holiday there lots (and travelled around it last summer). I love it there and I'd love to dance in Chania, Rethymno or maybe some of the other touristy places (Heraklion would do) as a base to explore the island for a working holiday with my fella . . . but I can't read his website cos it's in Norwegian! Anyone danced in Greece before?

It's only the lighting of the Olympic Torch in Greece this year. I know that the major sporting events (i.e. World Cup, Euro championship, Olympic Games) never clash in the same year and this year is the year of the Euro championship.

I've never really heard great news about work in Greece to be honest. You would have to thoroughly research it to get the answers you want.

Modellservice in Norway have often problems with paying the girls at corect times. 2 of my girls was this autumn paid over 9 weeks to late for a single days job, and the owner was then excusing me that he was ruin. How can he be able to even think abouth running 500 new girls. May be because he thinks 105 is a big IQ? They run the girls into hard contracts, and then suid them to stay.
Well, this is also an issue when US or Canadian girls work overseas. Besides being a "foreigner" if a dancer should happen to personally get in trouble with the local law, there is also the issue of little recourse if a foreign clubowner or agency screws you. In order to collect, you must sue the clubowner or agency in the courts of their home country, which is extremely difficult to arrange, expensive in terms of legal fees, and the home country courts will probably give the "local" club or agency preferential treatment.

I worked in Europe "under the table". While the cabaret was very fair and treated me well, I got majorly screwed at another, more "legitimate" job. The owner did not want to pay me the $500 he owed me, and that was that....nothing I could do. Sure 5 small is not a huge amount of money, but its hard work for nada......grrrrrrrrr

Its not hard to get hired directly to a club ONCE you are already in the European city. My club was even processing a working visa for me but I decided not to stay on. Also, another time, I met a girl in Miami who had hooked me up with gigs at a few cabarets in Lugano, Switserland and Milano..unfortunately, I had to fly back to the States and did not see that outcome...

Personally, I don't trust neither Thor nor Oden, or whoever they represent themselves because they are innapropriately airing their dirty laundry on this thread and look unprofessional....meow!
